Party Bands for Hire in Victoria

Hire Party Bands in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Party bands in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada play popular music across several decades, from Motown and classic rock to current chart hits, adjusting the setlist and energy to suit the room. Also called function bands, these acts usually run to 3 to 6 musicians and are booked for weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and private parties.

What to Check Before Booking

Set structure varies more than most people expect. A typical evening booking is two 45-minute sets with a break, and many bands supply a DJ playlist to cover the gap so the music never stops. Confirm how early the act needs access for setup, whether the venue has a sound limiter, and whether the band will learn a specific song for a first dance.

Party Band Pricing in Victoria

Rates for function bands in Victoria range from $320 to $5,000+, with the average booking at $1,600. Band size is the biggest factor: a three-piece costs less than a six-piece with brass or a second vocalist. Performance length, travel distance and whether the act supplies its own PA and lighting all move the figure.
