Hire Violinists / Fiddlers in Bath, England, United Kingdom

Violinists in Bath, England, United Kingdom cover a broad spectrum of styles for events across your area. Traditional fiddle players are a popular pick for folk-themed celebrations and cultural events near you.

Choosing a Violin Player for Your Event

The right performer depends on the type of event and the atmosphere you want to create. Classical violin suits formal ceremonies, drinks receptions and corporate dinners. Electric violin works well for livelier moments such as evening receptions, product launches and milestone parties. Many local violin players offer both acoustic and electric options within a single booking, transitioning between styles as the event progresses. It is worth asking about repertoire, set lengths and any additional equipment they bring.

Pricing for Violinists in Bath

Rates for violin players in Bath begin at about £120 for a single short set, with most quotes coming in near £340 and experienced electric acts carrying their own sound equipment reaching £850+. Set length drives the figure more than anything else, followed by whether the performance is acoustic or electric and how far the player travels. Learning a specific piece for a processional or first dance usually adds a small fee, and covering a ceremony and an evening reception together costs more than a single set. Ask for a written quote that states set length, arrival time and the rate if the schedule overruns.
