Live wedding bands bring an energy to evening receptions that playlists cannot match. Professional groups near you are experienced at working with local venues, managing sound levels for different room sizes, and keeping guests of all ages dancing. Most acts perform two or three sets of around 45 minutes, with DJ music filling the breaks, and offer extras like acoustic ceremony performances or learning your first dance song.
Start by matching band size to your venue. Duos and trios suit smaller or more intimate spaces, while four to six-piece lineups fill larger reception rooms with a fuller sound. Check demo videos to make sure the band's energy and style match the atmosphere you want. It is also worth asking about the full package: most professional acts include PA equipment, lighting, and MC services as standard, but ceremony music, extended sets, and additional musicians may be priced separately. Bands based near your venue often offer more competitive rates due to lower travel costs.
For Wedding bands in Dunbartonshire, fees run from £180 to £2,350+, with an average cost of £750. Band size is the biggest factor in pricing, followed by performance duration and time of year. Peak season dates from late spring through early autumn tend to carry higher rates, while midweek or off-season bookings can stretch your budget further. Ask about package deals if you want ceremony music or a late-night DJ set alongside the main performance.
The average price for Wedding Bands available in Dunbartonshire, Scotland, United Kingdom is £750 (GBP). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Point Five Ceilidh Band
"A really great night, Point 5 were so accommodating, fun and professional. Also really great communication before the ceilidh, together meant my daughter had a party to remember."
The WeegieBeats
"Fantastic experience all round…the band were so professional as well as being excellent musicians and the set list appealed to all ages at the party. Everyone was up dancing and all the guests mentioned how excellent the band were. We also had a sax set which was beautiful. Finally the band were so friendly and made my birthday celebration a brilliant event. Thank you so much."
U2v2
"Unbelievable vocals and musicians - close your eyes and you would think Bono and the band were in the room"
GeO Gospel Choir
"What an amazing experience it was to listen and watch the choir. I loved them and I’m obsessed with them all. They were everything I hoped for and more. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for that wow factor for their wedding day.

The Lucky Saints Wedding & Function Band
"BEST BAND EVER!! We had The Lucky Saints play in the evening at our wedding at The Cruin last weekend. We appreciated their communication before the big day so much for making us feel so at ease and they arrived in plenty of time on the night. Other than our first dance and a few common requests, we wanted to leave them to do their thing - and boy did they deliver! They unexpectedly started (after our first dance) with a Gay Gordons ceilidh dance which was a surprise and really turned out to be the best way to start the evening - getting everybody up onto the dancefloor and having a laugh! They then moved seamlessly on to indie anthems, classic pop tunes and dancefloor fillers - they always knew what to play next to keep everyone on their feet. All tied up with a beautiful rendition of Loch Lomond to finish the night. The dancefloor was filled the whole evening and our guests kept commenting on how great the band were - particularly the beautiful female vocals and their ability to perform such a range so well. They even gifted us a bottle of "The Lucky Saints" branded bubbly to top it off! Thanks so much for giving us the best party on our special day!! True professionals and such a lovely group, we would highly recommend!"
Ted Christopher
"Brilliant night’s entertainment. Ted knows how to play to the crowd and can vary his sets based on who’s there and the crowds response."
