If you're paying for a Gig Heaven booking on behalf of a business, you can get a VAT invoice for the deposit once it has been paid. This article explains how to request one and what's on it.
How to get your VAT invoice
- Pay the deposit as normal - a standard Payment Receipt is available on the booking straight away (see how to view your payment receipt), but it's marked "This is not a VAT invoice".
- If you need a VAT invoice, contact us or email admin@gigheaven.com and we'll prepare one - whatever currency you paid in.
- Once it's ready, a VAT Invoice button appears on the booking next to the Payment Receipt (and in the Your payments section of My Account), and you can download it whenever you need it.
What's on the invoice
- Your name, email address and company details, as saved on your account.
- The invoice reference (your GH event and booking numbers) and the invoice date.
- The deposit, shown as the amount excluding VAT, the VAT, and the total - in the currency you paid in.
- Our business details: Gig Heaven is a trading name of LastMinuteMusicians.com Ltd, including our company and VAT registration numbers.
The invoice covers the deposit only - that's the payment made to Gig Heaven.
Adding a company name to the invoice
Make sure the name and address on the booking matches the company you need on the invoice. You can update your company details at any time from Edit contact details in My Account.
Invoice for the balance paid directly to the supplier
The remaining balance is paid directly to the supplier, so Gig Heaven doesn't issue an invoice for that portion. Ask the supplier directly, most will happily send you a simple invoice for their services.
If you need a bespoke invoice
For anything outside the standard format (for example, specific wording for a finance department, or multiple events on one invoice), contact us and we'll help you sort it.
If you have any trouble, please contact us.
