A Barcelona-born guitarist based in London, Miguel combines jazz training from Leeds College of Music and Middlesex University with a deep love for Latin jazz and flamenco rumba. His versatility as a soloist and collaborator has taken him to venues such as The Dorchester, Zetter Townhouse, and the British Museum.
Born in Madrid to Andalusian parents, Laura began dancing at age 8 and toured professionally by 20. Her flamenco singing journey began with a rociero choir at 11, evolving after moving to London in 2022. Her performances are known for their emotional depth and passionate delivery, shaped by both tradition and personal exploration.
From the Canary Islands, Ago is a percussionist rooted in flamenco and world rhythms. He trained in Hyderabad under Sri Gajender (Indian tabla) and in Madrid at Amor de Dios with El Guille and Julio el Indio. He's played festivals like Hide Tyde, Royal Festival Hall, and the Bloomsbury Theatre, and collaborates with top flamenco artists. Ago also teaches cajón and rhythm at the London School of Flamenco.
A cross-cultural violinist and composer, Preetha blends Western and Indian classical traditions. She has performed internationally with Anoushka Shankar, Nitin Sawhney, Talvin Singh OBE, and others. As co-founder of Balladeste, she creates original string music acclaimed for its spiritual and sonic depth. Preetha brings a unique melodic voice to our flamenco fusion.
Lourdes began her flamenco journey at age 5, later training at the Conservatory of Madrid and Rey Juan Carlos University, where she earned a Master's in Performing Arts. Since moving to London in 2012, she has performed at Ronnie Scott’s, Union Chapel, and the Brighton Festival, among others. A dedicated teacher and choreographer, Lourdes continues to evolve her flamenco expression through collaboration and innovation. “The dancer’s body is the luminous manifestation of her soul.”

We've performed at prestigious festivals including La Feria de Londres and Vauxhall Sabor Festival, and are regularly featured at renowned Spanish restaurants across London. Whether for intimate gatherings or large events, our vibrant performances infuse each occasion with energy, artistry, and tradition.
We love performing at events where there’s an opportunity for real cultural connection—whether that’s an intimate gathering where the audience can feel the pulse of the cajón and the raw emotion of the cante, or a larger festival where we can bring the full force of flamenco’s energy to the stage. Events that celebrate diversity, art, and heritage are especially close to our hearts. There’s something incredibly special about seeing people from all walks of life respond to the universal language of rhythm and passion that flamenco embodies.
Each member of our ensemble has a unique journey, but we came together through a shared love of flamenco and live performance. Our individual paths began in different parts of Spain, the UK, and beyond—dancing in Madrid, studying jazz in Leeds, learning rhythm in Hyderabad, or composing on the violin in London. We started gigging locally—Spanish restaurants, cultural events, small festivals—and soon found that our fusion of traditional and contemporary flamenco resonated deeply with audiences. Over time, this led to bookings at prestigious venues and festivals like La Feria de Londres, Royal Festival Hall, and Vauxhall Sabor.
Flamenco is a living tradition, and we’re constantly inspired by the greats—Camarón de la Isla for his revolutionary voice, Paco de Lucía for his masterful guitar, and Sara Baras for her powerful, expressive dance. We also draw influence from artists who bridge cultures, like Anoushka Shankar and Nitin Sawhney, reflecting our own fusion approach.
As for a favourite artist, it would be hard to name just one, but Paco de Lucía stands out for the way he modernised flamenco while keeping its soul intact.
And the greatest song of all time? That’s always a personal choice, but “Entre dos aguas” by Paco de Lucía is a timeless masterpiece. It’s a piece that transcends genre, showcasing virtuosity, emotion, and cultural richness—all things we strive to bring to our performances.
We usually arrive around 1 hour before the performance to allow time for setup, soundcheck, and any last-minute adjustments. Our standard format is 2 x 30minute set s (traditional flamenco) or 2 x 45-minute sets, depending on the event and audience preferences. We're happy to adapt to different timings if needed, but we've found these set lengths offer the best balance of energy and engagement.
Yes, we’re happy to perform outdoors—flamenco under the open sky can be magical! We just ask for a few essentials: a flat, stable surface (especially for dance), shade or cover to protect our instruments and equipment, and access to a nearby power supply. We’ll always work with the event team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We love working with clients to create the perfect musical experience. You're welcome to choose songs from our existing repertoire, or we can curate a set list tailored to the vibe of your event. We’re also happy to learn up to 2 specific songs with enough notice—especially if they hold special meaning for your occasion.
Clients often describe our performances as passionate, vibrant, and emotionally moving. They highlight the authenticity of our flamenco, the dynamic interplay between the music and dance, and the powerful connection we create with the audience. Whether it's a festival, private event, or cultural celebration, we're often told that our shows are a highlight of the evening—captivating, soulful, and unforgettable.
