24-year-old Lindo “Summer” Sithole has been performing professionally for about six years and entered The Voice SA season 2 in 2017 to progress his music to the next level. Lindo, who started singing for appreciative audiences back in high school already, studied for a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Business at UKZN Pietermaritzburg before venturing into music full time. 



His biggest musical inspiration is his late grandfather, who he never got to meet in his lifetime, but whose legacy as one of the best musicians in Pietermaritzburg and the country– as well as his unique sense of style – fired up a passion in Lindo too.
Lindo is an original and cover artist. He is a one man show (guitar and vocal)
that displays a wide array of musical genres apart from his soulful, jazz and rock style i.e. (indie) . He has entertained different age groups and demographics. His guitar skills are
always the centre of attention apart from his amazing voice and attractive sense of fashion.
With experience of six years in the music industry, although an upcoming singer he has come a long way through hard work and determination. He has been working as a live entertainment performer for big crowds in Pietermaritburg (KZN) at places like Italian restaurant Olive & Oil, The Golden Horse Casino And Spyrtz Premium Lounge. Apart from that he has been involved in other major events there. Lindo has also worked as a resident musician at Mpekweni Beach Resort in Eastern Cape along the R72 coastal route for six months shortly after the experience he had on the voice.
Highlights of this young artist’s journey in music is opening for Sands of hit songs “tigi tigi & Vuma” at his tour event at Intulo lifestyle (PMB), also opening for Mondli Ngcobo of hit song “Koze Kuse”. Opening for big acts at the 2016 Pietermaritzburg & Ugu Jazz Festival. Biggest highlight struck in 2017 when Lindo entered into The Voice South Africa season 2 aired on dstv MNet and made it up into the final top 16 live shows out of thousands of entrants.
At the moment he does corporate events, lounge/bar and restaurant. Since he has moved to Joburg Lindo has secured two residential gigs at The Metropolis Grill and Bar in Roodepoort situated at the Palm court Centre. And has been doing various private bookings for weddings, cooperate events and etc..
