A powerful six piece band bringing a mix of toe-tapping timeless classics and a heart thumping, lively sound. MoonCat delivers a vibrant blend of jazz, swing, and American songbook favourites as well as a twist on some modern pieces. Expect some romantic nostalgia, plenty of groove and an infectious rhythm.

We've really enjoyed performing at jazz festivals, playing to people who really love the genre and get genuinely excited with each song.
We especially love playing at festivals - the mix of people is usually the most interesting part and every generation seems to enjoy our music!
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up (takes 1 hour approx) and get our bearings! We usually perform for 2 to 2.5 hours (depending on the audience and the requirements of the person/venue that has hired us).
Bring it on - as long as we have power and some cover.
We have a pretty big repertoire and we are happy to move this around, depending on the client's needs. Should a client request specific songs, we are happy to put our own spin on it, as long as we have sufficient time.
