About / Biography

We are the Romaccordion Trio, 3 accordionists playing medleys of very famous songs from many genres: from classical famous themes to popolar roman songs, from rock legends hits (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc...) to passionate Piazzolla tangos, from Rondó Veneziano melodies to Morricone, Zimmer, Williams and many others movie soundtracks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

We had the honor to play a Christmas concert in beautiful Austrian town Kitzbuhel, and also in Italian pretty village Bolsena, close to the lake.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love playing at almost every kind of event, but we prefer a real concert with sitting and listening audience

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We 3 are all former members of an accordion orchestra from our music school, the “Fisorchestra di Roma”, that was active in Italy in the 80s and 90s

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Artist that have influenced us the most are: Astor Piazzolla, Richard Galliano, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, but also Bach, Verdi and Rossini

Why should I choose you guys?

Because Accordion ensemble playing many genres is something you’ve never seen, and you don’t expect, cause it’s different from any group or band usually you can find for a concert.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We prefer to arrive 2 hours before the concert to set up. We normally perform 2x 50 minutes sets

Are you happy to perform outside?

We can play outside, but there must be a performance space in the shade, with flat level surface.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Usually we have our ideal program, but clients are welcome to pick up songs from our repertoire

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

All previous customers would describe our performance surprising, cause they never saw accordions playing certain music in that way.
