"James performed on my wife's 40th and it was an amazing performance. Every bit of music he played or sung was melodious and enjoyable. He was courteous and adaptable for the requests of songs despite the event was running bit late I would definitely recommend him and consider him for my next celebration! "

Your music was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and the celebration - the play list that you selected was just perfect for all the moments. I have to especially complement how professional and thoughtful the band were throughout the whole event and I very much appreciated the flexibility and planning right up to the wedding day itself. The performance itself was spectacular and vocalist was just superb. The atmosphere and the mood that you set through the music was just perfect. Thank you for such a memorable performance and we are both truly grateful that you made the trip to Palermo and created such a wonderful occasion for us. True artists!!"

"The very first time we heard Gemma Ashley sing, she performed "In the Arms of an Angel" on a YouTube channel. We absolutely loved her voice and knew she would be the ideal singer for our Christmas wedding in 2022, and we were so fortunate that our wedding date suited her diary. Little did we know, then, that Gemma would - in a metaphorical sense - come to provide those very angelic, reassuring arms for us on our wedding day, as we were faced with a number of unexpected challenges (including train strikes, snow chaos, and traffic delays). It all added to the stresses of the day, particularly for the bridal party, who were not sure they would even make it to wedding in time. However, the moment we entered the Church and were met by Gemma's soaring aria as she performed her opening song to the Groom ("Nella Fantasia"), any worries and anxieties magically disappeared. Instead, a wonderful sense of calm and serenity descended - like arms of an angel - where Gemma's song, accompanied on the piano by amazing Paolo Freitas, literally transported us to a breathtakingly beautiful, almost etheral, space in time. From that point, everything fell into place, and Gemma became our guiding light and steadfast beacon for the rest of the day and evening. Not only was she our amazing soprano for our wedding ceremony, singing five songs in four different languages (Italian, Latin, Portuguese and English!), but she single-handedly provided the full musical entertainment for our wedding reception, covering everything from Depeche Mode to Abba - and even led the wedding party in a surprise Les Miserables flash mob! We are indebted to Gemma for making our wedding day the huge and unforgettable success that it was; her work ethic and professionalism is second to none, and her warmth, great sense of humour and generosity of spirit is something we will never forget. We feel we did not just hire a singer for our special day, but a true artist who engaged everyone with her presence and creative performance, and who has become a friend for life. We cannot recommend Gemma enough. She will bring joy and light and life-time memories to any special events, giving 110% until the very moment the lights go out for the night. Perhaps the greatest testament to the lasting effect that Gemma had on our wedding day was when the Priest himself leaned over and whispered to us during the ceremony: "Where did you find this singer? She is fantastic." We would only like to add that choosing this lovely young woman to sing at our wedding, and at the reception, was one of the best, if not the best, decision, that we made when arranging our wedding. "Blue Moon Jazz Band were absolutely wonderful and wonderful to work with! They played music for the welcome party for our wedding and were fantastic from start to finish. They perfectly matched the mood and setting of our event, playing a range of songs. The band and singer are all very talented and really impressed our guests. They kept telling us how much they loved the music! On top of all that, the band was very easy to work with. Raphael was friendly and responsive leading up to the event, answering all our questions. They coordinated with our venue to set everything up ahead of time. They were all lovely to work with, understood the vibe, and didn’t require much guidance to create the perfect atmosphere. Everyone loved the music. We would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you for such a lovely evening! "

"I can not rate JBMAC highly enough, they are super professional and easy to book and sound incredible. They were also really accommodating despite errors on my part. I absolutely loved having them at my event, and will 100% be back in the future to book again!"

"What can we really say apart from Vanessa was fantastic and absolute pleasure to deal with and she learnt our entrance song which was amazing, all of our guests commented on how great she was and how amazing the piano looked, if you are even considering Vanessa then definitely speak with i promise you will not be disappointed, thank you for making mine and Laurie’s day so perfect "

"We cannot say how much we appreciate and enjoyed having both Alfie and Valentina at our wedding on the 19/08/23. At Il Casale Denari. The music choices were arranged in advance without any issue and on the day they pulled it off seamlessly!!! Arrghhh it was the best day ever and having live music at the crucial points of the day made it all the more perfect. They were brilliant"
