"I booked Blag back in November 2018 and everything was very straightforward. Adrian, David and Michael were all very friendly and very professional. They arrived in plenty of time and set up with minimum impact on the rest of the party. They played at my 60th birthday party and played a mixture of ceilidh music to dance to, and other music in between, while we recovered !! Michael is a very good caller and, although we only had one experienced ceilidh dancer in our group, he was able to teach us quite a few dances. I absolutely loved my party and several of my guests also commented on how good the band were, and how much they'd enjoyed the whole evening. The last dance we did was definitely my favourite - lots of couples dancing in a big circle, gradually getting faster and faster !! Thanks again Blag !"

"This year we managed to raise £4,456 for our two charities (Shipston Home Nursing and the Air Ambulance), which I think is a record. I wanted first to thank you for your wonderful music. Having such a brilliant band is integral to the success of the Tartan Fling and we’re very grateful to you. "Local wedding we enjoyed a mix of easy listening music, to start the evening, customised dance list then a ceilidh dance segment with a caller to get the party into full swing followed again by another live music set. Brilliant combo great to get everyone involved. Reasonable pricing for all that you enjoy. Really made the wedding special Thank you"

"I must be honest I had never been involved in finding and/or booking a band for an event, so this was a first for me - and it was my dad's 60th so I really wanted something special. Joubert and his wife (who seemed to be in charge of the Sound Engineering side of things) were very accommodating and there were little-no issues. The sound quality was great - his voice is great - and no request seemed too much to ask (they did everything with a smile on their faces). We tried to give as many song requests to them at least a week before the time as possible - and they seemed very appreciative of that. They did go the extra mile in the sense that the party actually only seemed to kick off when they were supposed to wind things up - but they volunteered to stay for longer just before my dad asked me if they could, and so they did. The event turned out to be a big success and I wanted to thank Joubert and Juanita for the vibe they injected into a special day for us as a family. Dankie julle"

"Thank you for the most romantic and Scottish first dance and for your ceilidh. Tricia was great when calling the dances and explaining us what to do. We all had lots of fun. You also managed to make my dad dance, who ususally never does! I was truly amazed to see him on the dance floor. With your wonderful music you made the evening even more special and you created wonderful memories that we will bring forever in our hearts. I truly wish to meet you again and dance at the rythm of your wonderful Scottish music. I have purchased your disc in ITunes as I am in love with your songs! "

I honestly would not have believed that the majority of people dancing were new to ceilidh dancing from watching them, they all took to it really fast.
