"The Sheriffs did a fantastic job at our wedding. They had everyone up and dancing, which was no small feat as there was a huge range of ages at our wedding. The communication before the wedding during the planning stage was great. We knew exactly what we were going to get and they couldn't have been nicer to deal with. Most importantly, they put on a great show! I would whole heartedly recommend them!"

"We just wanted to say a massive thank you for getting the party started. We had so many people say how much they enjoyed the ceilidh, lots who have never done it or even heard of it before and have now started to look for them closer to home! It made the wedding the most amount of fun and I felt like I actually saw all our guests even if it was for 30 seconds as they swung me round. My favourite memory was the cheer when everyone swapped partners and greeted someone new....it made me cry happy tears. Thank you a thousand times for making it the best day of our lives! "

"Blag played a Ceilidh for my 50th Birthday party on Saturday. We had a fantastic time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The calling was very clear and the music brilliantly played. I specifically wanted an event where young and old, keen and not so keen dancers would all participate and that was achieved to the enjoyment of everyone. Thank you so much. The communication before the event was clear and helpful - David answering all sorts of detailed questions that I had. I can thoroughly recommend Blag to ensure a great event."

"Blag were fantastic at our Burns night celebration last night, they were very flexible with our timings and played two brilliant sets. The communication beforehand was great which really put me at ease before they arrived. Both sets were so great that they managed to get almost everyone on the dance floor all night! "I must be honest I had never been involved in finding and/or booking a band for an event, so this was a first for me - and it was my dad's 60th so I really wanted something special. Joubert and his wife (who seemed to be in charge of the Sound Engineering side of things) were very accommodating and there were little-no issues. The sound quality was great - his voice is great - and no request seemed too much to ask (they did everything with a smile on their faces). We tried to give as many song requests to them at least a week before the time as possible - and they seemed very appreciative of that. They did go the extra mile in the sense that the party actually only seemed to kick off when they were supposed to wind things up - but they volunteered to stay for longer just before my dad asked me if they could, and so they did. The event turned out to be a big success and I wanted to thank Joubert and Juanita for the vibe they injected into a special day for us as a family. Dankie julle"

"Bellows, Scratchitt & Pluckitt came and played for our wedding reception in October and did an absolutely fantastic job. They read the room extremely well, making sure that the dances were appropriate to the ability of the group, and did their best to include everyone from 3 year olds to 83 year olds. We had so much fun and would highly recommend them!"

"I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Dave, Mike and Gerry who form The Berking Mad Band. This is the third event that we have booked them for and once again it was a massive success. They are always reliable and turn up on time. They set up the equipment with no fuss and are very adaptable to any type of event whether it be a Burns Night, a Ceilidh, a Wedding or a Birthday Party. Dave is incredibly patient at giving instructions to those who are novice dancers and even goes out onto the dance floor to help people with the dance steps. They cater for all abilities, young and old! Dave encourages people to get up to dance without being too intrusive and has a good sense of humour which makes people laugh and enjoy the night. Everyone who has been to our events where The Berking Mad Band have played have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have always been very positive about this band.
