"Blag were fantastic at our Burns night celebration last night, they were very flexible with our timings and played two brilliant sets. The communication beforehand was great which really put me at ease before they arrived. Both sets were so great that they managed to get almost everyone on the dance floor all night! I would have no hestitation in recommending Blag and look forward to booking them for our next event"

"We just wanted to write a short thank you for playing at our wedding. The ceilidh was so much fun and a great success with all our guests. It was nice to see so many people of different ages and stages enjoy themselves together. The ceilidh caller did a great job in directing the moves and the musicians did a great job in playing such beautiful music!! "Annasach played for our wedding in June 2018 near Livingston, where most of the guests were not regular ceilidh goers but almost all got up to give it a go! Thanks to the team for the rousing tunes and good calling, which made even the novices feel that they could join in the fun. We loved Auld Lang Syne at the end too - a brilliant end to our special day. Annasach were easy to deal with and professional from the beginning, we would definitely recommend them to others looking for a ceilidh band for their event. We look forward to attending one of their public ceilidhs again soon!"

"If you're looking for a band who can come onstage to a marquee full of people quietly chatting and drinking and within minutes turn them into full-scale dance Machine with everybody in the place laughing and enjoying themselves, Then I think BLAG might be the act for you. Guests at our event (held to raise funds to prevent the destruction of a greenbelt zone) ranged from 20s to 60s, But all were captivated by the humour professionalism and generally good time emanating from rom the band. I am a professional filmmaker and have shot an l lot of promo videos for bands, from Euorope (yep, “the final countdown”) to Paul Young to AC/DC, and BLAG have that same charismatic quality that you see in all these massively successful bands. For a 3 piece they also a pack a monster sound, and over the course of three sets in one evening they played not only the gay Gordons and other traditional stuff but also sex and drugs and rock'n' roll and people are strange by the doors - not something you hear from average ceilidh band. I would highly recommend them if you're having any kind of function we want to get the whole crowd involved. Oh and did I mention they’re very nice guys as well?"

"Wow what can I say, we asked for a country band and we booked the Country Rocks Band… they were everything we could’ve asked for! Everyone was up on the dancefloor from the first song to the last drum strike! Amazing night thoroughly had by all. Our guests kept commenting how great they were! "Raquel and her amazing band (Raquel's riot) is an amazing group!! If your looking to hire a band look no farther 😁 amazing vocals and omg the band is awesome talk about talent. This year they did the big event for girl guides and my niece who is 10 years old still talks about how much fun it was. I've had the opportunity to go see them live and omg!!!!! Make sure you book in advance as you don't want to miss an opportunity to hire them 😉"

"These guys did our wedding ceilidh and it was great! Their enthusiasm and fun meant all our guests wanted to be involved, they explained the dances in a way everyone could access and it was a brilliant night. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely brilliant! Made the entire night and brought so much life to the party. Played a mixture of upbeat songs and irish jigs and accommodated the music we wanted for the party and accommodated all ages. So excited to book them again. The guests are still mentionioning them a whole week after our event. Most friendly and professional band you could hire. If you're looking for a band to accommodate 18+ look no further, the whole place was dancing all night. Very talented guys. Thank you so much for making our party that much better."

"Thank you for the most romantic and Scottish first dance and for your ceilidh. Tricia was great when calling the dances and explaining us what to do. We all had lots of fun. You also managed to make my dad dance, who ususally never does! I was truly amazed to see him on the dance floor. With your wonderful music you made the evening even more special and you created wonderful memories that we will bring forever in our hearts. "Local wedding we enjoyed a mix of easy listening music, to start the evening, customised dance list then a ceilidh dance segment with a caller to get the party into full swing followed again by another live music set. Brilliant combo great to get everyone involved. Reasonable pricing for all that you enjoy. Really made the wedding special Thank you"
