"When planning my daughter's wedding, which was always destined to be a multicultural blend of music genres, styles, and rhythmic offerings, I was set on finding that flair to entertain our guests with a little taste of their own familiar music and I happened upon the One Man Steel Drum Band on a popular gig website. With the union of the kids spanning the globe and including West Indian, Latin, and Russian culture, this was a perfect choice! Upon establishing contact with John Skoczen, I realized very quickly that he would be an effective and professional communicator who cared not only about his role in our event but also the appeal of such things as attire, the set list, any particular requests related to the guests, and the full gamut of helping us to make our event delightful. John consistently maintained contact with me regarding updates, directions, and special elements. No portions of our interactions were confusing for me. He was so patient and understanding upon arriving at the venue whereas I was as a scattered and frazzled mother of the bride and coordinator. "Egy olyan szülinapi partyn zenéltek, ahol az egyik ünnepelt rendelkezik zenei tudással. Biztosak voltunk abban, hogy olyan zenekart fognak választani ahol magason lesz a léc. Nos, mi vendégek, azt az időt amit ott töltöttünk áttáncoltuk. Szerintem egy vendég sem volt, aki nem táncolt volna!😊 Fergeteges buli volt, aminek olyan gyorsan vége lett hogy nem is értettük hogyan múlt el ilyen gyorsan az este!? "The Cheers sang for us at a recent party, on a very cold night in a field! They were in fabulous voice and had everyone up and dancing to great songs. The vocalists have fantastic voices, the music is note perfect and many guests commented how great the band were! Thanks guys - it was a fabulous night!"

"Robin and Jack were fantastic - super communicative, friendly and played a fabulous set. Two very talented musicians! They read the room very well and set a great tone for the evening which really facilitated the event. We had positive feedback from attendees who enjoyed the range of songs played and the upbeat atmosphere created by the live music. Throughout the booking process and event, they were flexible and professional in accommodating our requests."

"I hired AL SON DE RUMBA for my wedding and it was wonderful! They made us enjoy and dance during the whole show. They played the songs that we agreed in the meetings and everything was quite easy. Highly recommended!"

"Super talented band, fun friendly and amazing performers and professional to work with. The floor was filled all night. Our wedding guests were blown away by the unique medleys and talent this band displayed, even those who were musically trained picked up the extra effort and requests the band dropped in just because the band love music and performing so much. Book them!"
