"The band members, very respectful and responsible, arrived on time and were very professional at all times. But honestly, we felt very disappointed that when contacting this band, we were specific about confirming if they played certain songs, certain artists, including rock and roll songs, which was the main concept of the party including decoration, etc. A party obviously centered on the birthday person for their 80th birthday, and the band played a selection of music that wasn’t what we requested. So, sorry for the honesty, but in that sense, we were very very disappointed. The idea was to hear the birthday person’s favorite songs, and that didn’t happen. That was the main reason we decided to invest in a band instead of going to a nightclub to listen to random music."

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we appreciate your kind words about our professionalism and punctuality.  However, we'd like to respectfully address the concerns raised, as we believe there may have been a misunderstanding about what was agreed upon. Before the booking was confirmed, we provided our complete repertoire of 170 songs so you could review exactly what we perform. When you sent through your song requests, we responded clearly in writing that we could perform around 90% of the songs listed, specifically noting which artists and songs we don't cover, including Roy Orbison, Tony Bennett, and "Piña Colada." The contract was signed after this exchange, confirming mutual understanding of the agreed-upon repertoire. On the day, we delivered exactly what was agreed: approximately 90% of your requested songs, plus additional requests from guests. Guests were dancing and singing along to our performance. Furthermore, the birthday guest himself told us during the event that he was thoroughly enjoying the music, which we also took as a positive sign that we were meeting expectations. We always strive to be flexible and responsive on the day. When asked mid-performance to stop for unplanned moments like the raffle and cake cutting, we simply requested to finish the current song to avoid an abrupt interruption, a standard practice that maintains the flow and professionalism of live music. We regret that the experience didn't meet your expectations despite our clear pre-event communication. "We had searched for a guitarist to play our wedding, but as we wanted one to get the party started between the day and evening do, we struggled to find one, with most having a more downbeat take on songs. But then we found Matt and as we looked through his links on YouTube etc., his repertoire and his style, it became clear he was the guitarist for us. We reached out to Matt to talk about what we wanted from him for our day and he was very open and collaborative to our suggestions and upfront on what he provided, for how long and for how much and what he needed from us, making the whole booking process very easy. We also enquired about him learning some additional songs that were favourites of our friends and family, which he gladly obliged. On the day he arrived and got set up promptly, smartly dressed and was amazing, with our guests commenting that he was great. We would wholeheartedly recommend Matt for anyone, he is an amazing wedding guitarist!"

"Chris played for our wedding and we would highly recommend him. He helped us create a lively, but not dominating atmosphere, and was extremely friendly and helpful. His playlist suited our "do", but he was also open to the odd request from our guests.He was very accommodating beforehand as well, which helps a lot when organizing an event. Don't hesitate to book him!"
