"Fantastic! Perfect addition to a milestone party! Jay Armsworthy & Eastern Tradition were the highlight of my husband’s 50th birthday celebration! Mr. Armsworthy is a complete gentleman and was recently awarded the 2019 Maryland Traditions Heritage Award. We were equally impressed to discover Mr. Armsworthy hosts a weekly radio show, Bluegrass By the Bay. The band is the real deal! Communication and logistics for our event were seamless, and their talent, musicianship, and harmonies - a gift. Our diverse crowd didn’t want the set to end. Thanks for a great evening!!"

"I walked in and was greeted by the sound of Angels singing. No joke. These three young ladies (Catherine, Sophia & Grace) have a way of harmonizing that will send shivers up your spine… bands this good should be on national radio stations"

"I have known Jeff for quite a few years. Besides from being a great person, his performance on the stage is incredibility enthusiastic and he rocks ! His vocal range is what draws me to go see him play, no matter the distance or venue. "

"So talented! So fun! Great addition to our party! Number 9 Coal played for 3 hours at my brother's rehearsal dinner and welcome party in November '21. They were fantastic! They were on time, communicated great, were professional and the music was excellent. They even took the time to learn a new song to surprise my brother and his fiance. "Polly Haardon’s Rock & Country Show was such a hit! We booked it for a birthday celebration and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Nigel brought a fantastic setup - complete with a small stage and great lighting - that really made it feel like a true concert experience. He was a pleasure to work with: organized, responsive, and easygoing. The energy of the show was incredible, and our whole group had an absolute blast singing and dancing along all night. It made the celebration so memorable!"

"Highlight of our Event Coal #9 was the highlight of our backyard party. From the initial booking onward working with the band was effortless. Communication was excellent throughout. The band had to adjust their setup for our backyard but adjusted on the fly and without any loss in performance or complaint. Our guests raved at the quality of their performance. Band members were friendly and warm and their presence added to the evenings ambiance. We are so thankful that we go Coal #9 to perform at our event and highly recommend you consider them for your event.
