Review Centre: Jazz Singers

"Mark Sensinger performed background music at my daughter’s bridal shower lunch at the Andover, Inn in Andover, MA. To say that he was amazing in an understatement. He did it all. As guests were arriving and mingling he played sax - a bossa nova vibe. Then, during lunch, he played background piano music, including some of his own compositions, which were creative and easy listening. Then, during dessert and coffee, when people were moving around the room again and mingling, he played keyboard and sang - mostly older and classic love songs by Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter, etc. It was unbelievable, so much like the real thing. Having live music made for a really special day. Mark is a talented and versatile musician with a varied and sophisticated repertoire and an agreeable disposition. He even came to the Andover Inn two weeks before our bridal lunch to do a sound check. He would be great at any event associated with weddings, special anniversaries and milestone birthday parties."

"Just wow! Blue Moon Jazz Band played our wedding in Tuscany and they were simply perfect from start to finish. I communicated with Raphael throughout the wedding planning process and he was very helpful and sweet. The band were really talented and professional, our guests loved them, and they set the perfect vibe for the wedding. They also provided a DJ for the party and he was great! I highly recommend the band, they are incredible and so talented! "

"Kit was a wonderful addition to the boat cruise I organised for my friends hen do, his sophisticated attire and flexible style (upper deck/lower deck/upper deck again!) made him a pleasure to work with and the classics he sang and played made the whole afternoon a real delight, thank you Kit!!"

"I sent him only some humming about a song and he created something unique but still very authentic to the original "song". He was in time at the place we discussed. 10/10 communication. 10/10 creativity. 10/10 privacy after I proposed he just left without making it a big deal and contacted me afterwards. Very VERY satisfied with this lad !"

"I would just like to thank Livi for the outstanding send off she gave to my beautiful mother. On request she sang ‘Ave Maria' in the chapel and lovely hymns. For a turn out of 400 people every single person was saying how beautiful her voice was. What a pleasure to work with. She came back to the wake and sung a gorgeous set of songs, everyone loved it. On behalf of myself and my family we would like to thank you for making the hardest day of our lives a very memorable and special day. I would highly recommend Livi for any occasion. "

"Wow wow wow! These guys were absolutely incredible! Words can’t describe! We hired the NQBB for our wedding back in October and we think it was the best wedding decision we made! Will was super through all stages of the process, from enquiries before booking, through to set list selections and sorting out logistics, he was so friendly, with excellent communication and always had time to answer our queries. On the day itself they arrived in plenty of time to set up and you could tell the guests were getting excited for what was to come. It was what we were most looking forward to about the day and it more than exceeded our expectations! What was wonderful was seeing everyone dancing - all the generations. They are such amazing performers and so engaging getting all on the dance floor involved! Our guests are still raving about ‘THE band’ and rightly so! "Lizzie Hales traveled miles to entertain the senior citizens of Hughenden Valley, a village in South Bucks, on Saturday, 22nd June at the annual party organised by the Residents Association. She sang lots of favourites from Musicals and by well-known singers past and present, as well as some classical songs. I have no hesitation in recommending Lizzie for your forthcoming event/party – everyone loved her singing, and I agreed with our MC for the evening when he said “the show was really terrific!” Thank you very much indeed Lizzie for brightening up so many people’s lives"
