"Really can't thank this band enough , they did a fantastic job at our wedding on the 17th Aug. 2019, all our guests had a fantastic time and everyone commented on how brill they was. They got lots of people up having fun dancing so I would highly recommend this band without a doubt , if we need a band in the future I will definitely be booking them again, so if you’re after a band for your occasion then get these booked!!"

"Words cannot describe how amazing Bernadette, Steve, Jake and Cassie of Bassline Studios are. We reached out to them to be our band for our wedding reception and the MC as well as play for our ceremony. The vibe they set for our wedding was next level. When I came to Bernadette with a list of songs I wanted - from Metallica and Silverchair to Prince. They nailed it They made our wedding the most fun and memorable experience for not only us - but all our guests! And they played me Purple Rain - BEST. BAND. EVER!"

"Twist of Rock are a brilliant band. They played are our joint 60th party two weeks ago and gave a really upbeat, energetic and polished performance. They got the whole hall dancing all night, everybody loved them. Dave was a pleasure to deal with, he was prompt, helpful and professional, we knew from the start that we were in good hands. Highly recommended."

"As a piano student, I introduced Sonia to a couple of friends to play the organ during their wedding. She was on time, well trained and she performed passionately with a singer. The bride and the groom were satisfied with the musical performance. I also attended other events in which Sonia performed both classical and jazz music alone/in couple and with singers and I think the result is guaranteed by her great skills, professionalism and passion for music. "

"We can’t thank you enough for helping to make the whole weekend so special, from Friday night outside the pub, to the beautiful songs in the quarry during the ceremony, to the fantastic performance in the tipi! Your energy and enjoyment was infectious and you went way beyond what we had requested with the numerous encores! We can’t tell you how many of our guests have commented how good you were and how they had never seen a band like you in terms of musicianship and the way you engaged. "We had the Big Smoke Brass come and play at our wedding in Cornwall and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They learnt our first dance song specifically for our wedding and it was amazing to have the band play such a special song to us. We had so many wedding guests come up to us and say how awesome they thought the band were and they definitely got the party started! I would book them again without hesitation! Huge thank you Big Smoke Brass for making our wedding one to remember! :D"

"Wonderful and Professional. Sherri and Rick were so accommodating for our recent wedding. They learned a piece that meant so much to us and preformed it beautifully. It was so moving. All in attendance commented on how beautifully all of the musical selections were. Additionally Sherri was so easy to work with alaways calm and reassuring. I will use them for future events and would encouraged everyone to, I promise you won't be disappointed. Thanks again to Sherri and Rick for making our ceremony amazing."

"The group, of 4 components, looks cohesive and organized. They entertain the audience with games and jokes between songs. The repertory is various and meets the needs of everyone: you can dance, you can sing, you can just sit and enjoy. You can hear famous music, from 80's to 2020, of all type with also very original variations made by them. "

"Alex of Shaal Sax was an absolute delight to work with and have play at our wedding. We’d highly recommend! My husband and I booked Alex for our wedding just about 10 days before the big day and Alex was great at communicating, offering creative ideas, and adapting without much notice. He was quick to respond, and extremely kind both via the internet and in-person. He showed up hours in advance to make sure technology worked smoothly alongside our DJ, and he bravely played in front of our crowd of ~165 French and American guests moving between dinner tables during dessert and then around the dance floor alongside our DJ for several songs. Having him in the center of the dancing was a huge crowd pleaser. He brought the energy up from about 7/10 to 11/10! ;) everyone loved it so much and he will truly remain such a highlight of our wedding day! Awesome experience hiring Shaal Sax!"
