"Groove 'N Motion performed for our wedding in August 2021 and they were incredible at every level. GnM had excellent communication, were affordable, were accommodating and understanding, played an amazing and wide-ranging setlist, and rocked with high energy all through the night. Our wedding guests, young and old, have said over and over how much they loved our dance floor and that GnM was the best wedding band they had ever seen. We agree and could not recommend them any higher. Scott, our main point of contact, was very communicative and accommodating, including when we had to reschedule our wedding because of covid. He also had a great ability to give advice and perspective from GnM's significant experience playing weddings and large events while still taking our more specific requests to heart. For example, GnM offered a range of modern and classic songs on a designated setlist but also enabled us to make many of our own requests of favorite songs not on their list. They also allowed us to send family to see them rehearse before we booked them because we at the time lived out of state. And they traveled from Denver to our venue in Salida, CO and were great sports about making the trip. It is important to make clear that GnM is not just a random group of musicians who are occasionally pulled together to play a wedding (like we discovered many commercial wedding bands can be). Groove 'N Motion is a true band with great continuity and a range of talents. It's clear they love playing music together and have fantastic rapport. GnM was amazing during our reception. They have their own sound mixer, who helpfully made sure the music never got too loud for our older guests. They played approx 3.5-4 hours for our reception and kept everyone out on the dance floor. The only problem we had was that so many guests wanted to stay for the music that everyone waited to take the last shuttle home! GnM was also excellent for our ceremony songs (a couple songs for guest seating, processional, and recessional) and provided a nice jazz quartet during our cocktail hour. These guys are talented and have range. Being able to rock a country song that is a family favorite and then soon after play some true funk hits is not something just any band could pull off. GnM did it without any problem. If you want to make sure that you have a wedding band that can perform songs in your setlist for all your guests to enjoy, look no further than Groove 'N Motion. You will not be disappointed. "

"My husband & I booked The Cheers Function Band for our wedding on the 05/10/2023. After searching for hours and hours for a band they stood out the most as they had so many 5* reviews! And now we know why! We spoke to Ben throughout the whole process and his communication was excellent. We booked an acoustic duo set for our welcome drinks and the quartet band + saxophone for the evening! We were super keen to have a saxophone finish after seeing this at our friend’s wedding. It was a great addition and a fantastic way to end the night. The band was absolutely fantastic on the night. We would like to say a special thank you to our lead singer Seonaid - she was brilliant & really engaged with the guests. We had so much complaints about how amazing she was! We would highly recommend The Cheers Function Band for your Wedding / Event! Thank you so for being part of our special day!"

"These guys gave us the BEST evening at our wedding, everyone loved them. People still comment to us a year later (sorry for the late review!!) how much fun they had because of the band and how they’d never danced for so long at a wedding. They were even kind enough to let our friend join them on bass for a few songs which was a lovely memory. Grazie per tutti guys, we loved it ❤️"

"Perfect for our wedding. Came highly recommend from an entertainment specialist who knows......They offered a full and changing variety of entertainment throughout the day. A vast musical repertoire of different styles to suit as the day progressed....., We chose acoustic for sessions in the sun with the champagne. Electric then suited the disco later on. No separate disc music was required either, they happily filled in gaps between their sets with prerecorded music of our choice. We have to say how professional they were. There early so the music played exactly when required. Happy to stay right to the end. Very friendly and generous, exuding a happiness that really added to our day! They deserve every success!"

"Played at our annual charity fundraiser and they were fantastic. They kept the crowd's energy high all night and played a brilliant mix of songs that everyone knew and loved. "Dave did the music for my husband’s 50th in 2017, and then my 50th in 2023. I knew when I was planning my party that I would be booking Dave - he was so brilliant to work with the first time! Dave is one of the easiest people to liaise with when planning. He makes every effort to understand your needs and timings, and is flexible in terms with song choices, whether looking for a mix of live singing, using playlist, or ‘karaoke’ style for guests to join in. He will also adapt on the day/evening if the guests are making specific song requests and will allow them to sing into the microphone, whilst he accompanies on guitar – it’s amazing how many seemingly shy friends and family, suddenly become budding Rock Stars! I wouldn’t hesitate booking Dave again and have wonderful memories to thank him for. "

"We had the cheers at our wedding in September 2023 and they were outstanding. I booked them because they played at another wedding I attended and loved them. Ben and the team never fail. " I have attended The Groove Primitive performances a few times through out the past few years, most notabaly at BarLove Portobello & Room 43 Lavender Hill. Thay are a superb collective of musicians led by Eddie Abdullah. The play funk, soul, jazz, groove & reggae, creating an amazing dance-inspired groove. Unique arrangements abound along with Eddie's own fresh, inventive ideas. Sublime vocals are also prominent and they interact with audience in a very personal, inclusive way. Very highly recommended! 10/10"

"Josh and Nora are so professional and an absolute dream to work with. We booked them for our wedding and their responses were so quick and helpful and we met halfway at a pub for a drink and meeting regarding what we were looking for, different options and just to get to know each-other better. They are super genuine, friendly and professional and give you all the information and options to help tailor to your event/audience. They gave us our set tracks for the wedding a month or so before so we could listen and change any songs and the music variety they provide is excellent. They arrived at the venue no problems and on time, set up was done without any issues and their music was insanely good. We went with the 3-Piece and we got so many compliments on the music choice, the sax and Nora’s singing. It took a few minutes for guests to realise she was live singing as she was so good. They definitely brought the dance vibes. They also did shout outs to our children on the dance floor which was so lovely and come onto the dance floor at different points.
