"Amazing Band! We hired Cheap Thrills to perform at my dads 70th surprise party. Booking them was easy and they answered all my questions in a timely manner. They were professional and very talented. The put on an amazing show and had everyone up dancing all night. Received so many compliments about them after the show. Will definitely use then again for future events."

"Excellent communication throughout, arrived on time and set up quietly during dinner in a not particularly large marquee, in the middle of nowhere. Friendly and of course an excellent band, playing upbeat songs and a varied set. We have heard a lot from our guests that they thought they were great. The dancefloor was never empty!"

"I'm not sure if there are many events that receive such detailed planning attention as do weddings. When my son and future daughter in law asked me if I could find a classical guitarist for their mid-summer outdoor wedding, I was thrilled to be assigned a specific role and to help. Stephan Kane came to us with strong recommendation. He exceeded our expectations from the first moment. At the bride's special request, Stephan was asked to play "La Valse d'Amelie" for the processional. I had heard the piece previously arranged for piano and for orchestra but never for guitar. Stephan created an arrangement for guitar especially for the event. Given that the event was outdoors and the procession stretched a goodly distance, timing the processional was part of the challenge. Stephan did that beautifully. Additionally, he provided lovely selections of his choosing as the guests assembled, appropriate amplification equipment, and executed both set up and break down of his equipment expeditiously and discretely. Stephan was politely responsive to my emails, communicated well and completely, and did for us everything that was expected and more. To me and to many, live music enhances any event. Working with a wonderful musician like Stephan, who is, as well as talented, gracious and humble, makes adding the magic of live music to the ambiance an easy decision. Val J."

"I can't say enough wonderful things about Cold Weather Company! Steve was my primary contact and he responded to every email promptly. He answered yes to all requests. The band arrived on time and agreed to stay for a late night acoustic set. They were consummate professionals. The music is why we chose the band, and it was amazing & beautiful to hear live. They were the perfect blend of background music that you really want to stop your conversation to listen to, however their cover of Let It Be was so moving, it silenced the room. We could not have chosen better for our fundraiser, all 150 guests were entertained! We are still hearing rave reviews."

"24 July 2025 - Chateau Destinee, Saint-Émilion, France - DJ Charlie was attentive, positive and a great deal of fun. It was very comforting to have him leading our dancing. That was particularly important to us and we were grateful to have him with us. The Sax player that he organised was incredible also and the two of them made an event that will be cherished forever. "I recently attended the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame dinner in Costa Mesa California I had no idea there was going to be music at the event. As my wife and I walked into the dining hall we were greeted by some of the sweetest music I have heard in years. Throughout the evening Doc entertained us with selections of Music spanning the years. We listened with huge Smiles on our faces. It truly is special when you get to hear someone share their soul with you through their music ! It is amazing how music can change an event from regular to Spectacular...He even brought a tear of joy to my eyes . His music undeniably heightened the level of an already amazing event. I would highly suggest if you'd like to take your next event up a notch, book Doc Saxy.. you and everyone present at your event will be happy you did. I know I sure was!! Smooth saxophone sounds brought to you by a very smooth dude. ENJOY! "

"Wow! We were so impressed with these guys, from the first initial contact with Jon, i knew that we were in safe hands. The band arrived in the afternoon and setup discreetly in the marquee. The music was a great mixture and just what was needed to keep our guests dancing away through the night. They also put a playlist of upbeat songs on when they weren't playing which really helped keep the dance floor! Paul and I would definitely recommend you to any of our friends in need of a party band. Thank you! X"
