Review Centre: Swing Bands

"Swing Shift played at our wedding, a modest affair with 200 of our closest friends and family. After our wedding dance, a foxtrot, the band started into that great swing tune, "In the Mood". Everyone, and we do mean everyone, ran onto the dance floor and danced the night away. What a magical evening!!! Bob and Karen PS: I have attached one of our favourite photos from the evening. "

"Wonderful to hear live jazz from a group of young, spontaneous and polished performers. Great rapport between the players and with the audience. Loved the energetic and stylish scat singing and instrumental solos, and it’s doubly great to have been in the audience of a live recording."

The way you played, volume, choice of music - everything accompanied at the right time, always atmospherically adapted to the situation and always the "right tone", whether at the standing reception, at dinner, in the course of the evening. Simply perfect. The nice possibility that the audience could wish for titles was really well received. "I had an incredible experience! I had the opportunity to have Igor and Sergei play the double bass and piano for my proposal, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. We spoke over Zoom and on the phone to go over the details, and they truly understood my vision. They even checked out some of the songs I wanted to include. They arrived on time and delivered an unforgettable performance. I will definitely hire them again for future events and highly recommend them"

"Non avremmo potuto chiedere di meglio: abbiamo ingaggiato i Tea for three in versione trio e hanno superato di gran lunga le nostre aspettative. Non avevamo dubbi che la scaletta sarebbe stata perfetta per noi, che la voce di Elena e la musica sarebbero state impeccabili ma... Oltre ad essere addirittura meglio dal vivo rispetto ai video che avevamo visto e ascoltato... Quello che davvero ci ha stupite e rassicurate fin dal primo contatto telefonico è stata la professionalità e la presa in carico della situazione. Elena e i ragazzi non solo hanno capito e accolto le nostre richieste... Autonomi e allo stesso tempo perfettamente in sintonia con il succedersi dei momenti, sono stati un punto fermo per tutta la serata; al primo incontro di persona, 10 giorni prima dell'evento, quando ancora tante cose erano in forse e indefinite, conoscere Elena mi ha fatto tirare un sospiro di sollievo, e ha veramente fatto la differenza nel caos di ansia da preparativi. Sono una sicurezza prima durante e dopo (vedi labirinto del borderò siae) l'evento! ANCORA GRAZIE!"

"A few years ago I had reviewed Luis Alas' single, at that time I stated Luis was definitely one to keep an eye on. With his new song "You Mean Everything To Me" Luis has officially arrived. He has shown a level of musical maturity in his playing of any of the top names. He plays with intent, every note speaks and nothing is done as a filler, this is Smooth Jazz at its best. I can now say Luis is ready for the big stage and I know it won't be very long to see him at all the great festivals and events. This is a definite "must add" to any smooth jazz lover."
