"On behalf of the Bushtracker Owners Group Inc. Committee, I would like to sincerely thank you for your entertainment at our Muster Dinner recently in Kenilworth. I’ve never seen the members so energetically join in the merriment and dancing, as they did on that night. We were all exhausted at the end of the night (we are baby boomers, after all!) and I am sure there was many a sore muscle or cramp afterwards from extraordinary exercise! You two are great entertainers. Thank you so much! I wish we could take you to our Muster in Western Australia next year!"

"Sublime live music I’m struggling to find an adjective that does justice to the experience David Dominique and his band gave us with their live music. You were the perfect finishing touch that made our day absolutely perfect. Our guests couldn’t stop telling us how blown away they were by the musicians. "We had JBMAC for my 40th Garden party! It was honestly EPIC! All of my guests are still messaging me now saying it was the best garden party they have ever been to and also asking “who was the DJ and singer” - every tune was a banger and I don’t know one person that didn’t dance out of 80 guests!! THANK YOU!! No need to think about booking JBMAC - just do it xx"

"Review: Godfrey Johnson soars as VASLAV at The Fugard Theatre This was my first time seeing this stunning piece of theatre and I am not surprised by all the glowing reviews and the three Fleur du Cap nominations it received. Godfrey Johnson throws himself whole-heartedly into his performance and is quite mesmerising. The play is based on the diaries written by Vaslav Nijinsky and was brought to life by a combination of Johnson, Karen Jeynes and Lara Bye. It was also directed by Bye. I particularly loved the simplicity of it all - or at least how simple it all seemed on the surface. There was nothing simple about Johnson's performance or the excellent attention to detail in the staging. The whole piece moved with a musicality that was befitting of the subject matter, and yet there was virtually no actual dancing in it. Johnson's ability to talk to and fully engage with the audience as he played various characters, all while sitting at the piano and playing, is extraordinary. I loved how a small change in hand placements could signify a different character. There was no need to spell it out. Johnson merely adjusted his posture and you could see he had become someone else. The musical score gave me goose bumps. It really captured the fractured state of mind of Nijinsky. The soundtrack, virtually all played by Johnson live through the performance, soared from light and airy so you could just imagine this dancer leaping through the air, to staccato or dramatic as he gets confused and his state of being deteriorates. A plain archway with a white curtain stands at the back and shows the audience a projected image of a hallway as if seen from the hospital room Nijinsky was confined to. Other projections included images and short videos of Nijinsky and other characters. There is a piano to one side, where a lot of the action takes place as Johnson provides a soundtrack to his own performance. Other than that, the lighting (originally designed by Jon Keevy) moved with the flow of the piece to complete the mood of each moment. My only technical quibble is with the use of the two microphones on stands. I think the performance would've been better served if Johnson had a mic on him. He moved around too much, making it very obvious when he was speaking into the microphone and when it wasn't able to catch his voice. This was especially noticeable on the mic standing away from the piano. Overall, it's a clever piece of theatre that makes you fe it's a clever piece of theatre that makes you feel things as the music, the movement and Johnson's utter commitment to the character pull you along. It felt raw and real but at the same time surreal, as if it were all just a dream."

"We chose this organist for our wedding ceremony in Florence, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. From the very first contact, he proved to be highly professional, kind, and incredibly attentive to every detail. He took the time to understand our preferences and guided us through the selection of the music for each moment of the ceremony, suggesting both classical masterpieces and more contemporary pieces beautifully adapted for the organ. On the day of the wedding, the atmosphere he created was simply magical. The entrance of the bride was deeply moving, and many of our guests later told us they were genuinely touched by the music. His performance enhanced the acoustics of the church perfectly, filling the space with warmth and elegance. Every piece was performed flawlessly, with great sensitivity and emotional depth. "SF City Hall Wedding Ceremony 8/29/19 We hired Stephen to play acoustic guitar for our wedding ceremony at SF City Hall (8/29/19). In addition to being very kind, responsive, and professional — his talent is out of this world! His music really set the tune (pun intended) for the entire ceremony! He transformed a very public City Hall into what felt like our own little romantic world. My family and friends could not stop talking about how beautiful his music was! Planning a wedding is very stressful having multiple vendors, but Stephen was the only vendor I did not have to worry about or chase down. He’s very upfront with pricing, plan, and requests!
