Review Centre: Pop / Rock Singers

"I had 60 people to my disco/cowboy/rocky horror party at the Cashmere Club and The Party Singers were my choice of band. They were a very professional couple. Starting with communication they were prompt and asked good questions to set the mood for the night. They made suggestions which were helpful. On the day they set up early and were very accommodating. The set up had disco lights and the sound was clear. I didn't need anything else for the entertainment. We had an issue with a video not playing and Paul and Sam just waded in with the appropriate music on their sound system without me asking. I was very grateful. They had breaks when we had other activities and never complained. They went over time and dismantled their gear quickly and quietly, then came to say goodbye. Can't recommend highly enough. "

"We decided very early on in the planning of our big day that it was going to be a festival-themed wedding. That meant that the band, or effectively headline act, needed to exude a number of qualities, including an extensive repertoire, a strong sound and most of all the ability to entertain a tipi full of revellers. When we came across the Supercharger they seemed to embody all the characteristics we were looking for in a band, and more. Needless to say we booked them straight away. Leading up to the day of our nuptials, the band were easily contactable and always pleasant in their dealings with us, making themselves available through email, text message and phone call. This is something that can’t be overlooked, as when you are planning a wedding you need to know everything is going to run smoothly. The band were happy to answer any of our questions and even offered some suggestions to the running order of the day which were appreciated and taken onboard. Which leads us to the day itself and they did not disappoint at all. From the moment they hit the stage they were of the highest calibre, packing out the dancefloor and interacting with the crowd between songs. They played songs from various genres and decades and each one was well received and played as the original artist intended. In fact at times it was hard to differentiate between the original recording and the Supercharger version, which is a level of perfectionism that can’t be faulted. Having a good mix of music at an event like a wedding is key due to the range of ages and tastes in attendance and all of our guests got involved on the dancefloor. So good were the band in fact that one of our guests, renowned for never having a boogie, even dangled his toe over the edge of the dancefloor in appreciation of their talent. We picked out a few songs prior to the wedding which we knew we wanted the band to play and each of these was delivered with sonic precision. The rest of the set the ‘jets chose themselves and every classic they belted out went down better than the last. From the Beatles to Queen, the Kinks to Guns N Roses, everything sounded fantastic. We had a Marryoke filmed on the day of the wedding and the band were only too happy to play Huey Lewis and the News’ ‘Power Of Love’ early on in their set. As the guests had been singing it all day it proved to be very popular and the rendition was spot on! Both my wife and I are keen Nirvana fans and we mentioned to the band prior to the wedding that we wouldn’t mind them playing ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ but to obviously use their own gauge as to whether or not they felt it might go down well, after all we didn’t want to alienate those in attendance who didn’t appreciate the rockier side of music. We needn’t have worried however, they played it as their last song and it went down a storm, filling the dancefloor more than any other song and not just those with a penchant for heavier guitar based tunes. Dancing with our parents to Nirvana on our wedding day is a memory we will treasure forever. If you are looking for a band that are talented, professional and most of all can fill a dancefloor then look no further, the Supercharger are awesome! In the days following our wedding we were bombarded with comments about how amazing the band were and there was no argument from us, the Supercharger made the best day of our lives even more special. "What a fantastic week in Nice, France. So many people to thank and hope I think of everybody. To Patricia Robertson and Andrew Coates of Andrew Coates Music Ltd for booking us as part of their new venture of promoting Irish Bands in the South of France. We met them upon our arrival and were delighted to get reacquainted with them over a drink. Which leads me to our next thank you; to the managers and staff of Ma Nolan's Irish Pubs, Vieux Nice. This "Work Family" work hard at keeping Ma Nolan's a top class bar and restaurant. A massive thanks also to Thady, Sean and Maddy for sorting all our luxurious accommodation. Cannot wait to pop back over. What a place.....What a pub!!!"

"I booked Paul at late notice and he was very accommodating and managed to fit my event in!! I found him to be extremely easy to deal with in arranging his performance! On the day he arrived bang on time and gave a fantastic performance which everyone thoroughly enjoyed!! Should have booked him for longer!!! Overall, great guy, great performance, so I highly recommend him!!!"

"I booked Klinsmann for our work Event, as I saw them performing live and they got the crowd going wild. They were very flexable with their set-up as they offered us different packages for a duo, trio and the full band set-up. very easy to communicate with. "I hired D'Mac to play a couple of songs while I proposed to my fiance. He did a wonderful job! Even put up with a restaurant manager that wasn't too cooperrative with my plan to propose at our "first date restaurant. I definitely recommend this wonderful musician."

"I would highly recommend Joe, he was very professional from the first time I contacted him. Prior to the event we requested a few songs that were not in his repertoire and he was very obliging in making sure he brushed up on them. His singing was brilliant and it just made the party very special. If you hire Joe I assure you that you will not be disappointed he is definitely worth every penny."

"With nothing special in High Wycombe I took the 102 airport bus to Uxbridge to see the So & So s a second time. A three-piece maybe but the sound set up is good......and the banter from the drummer is hilarious, inviting the audience to shout back sometimes. I reckon they would be well received in High Wycombe so I'm putting their business cards into a few venues. Wally Wombat, Sunday 1 March 2026"

"We have worked with Ant many times over the last couple of years and keep getting him back in to play on account of his strong, versatile voice and sound that suits a wide range of styles and settings, from larger crowds to intimate gigs. Ant can be amazingly flexible with the set list and tailors a performance to suit the crowd. All in all, he’s a great guy and really easy to work with. "
