"Pharaoh and the Beats recently played at our wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn and provided a really fantastic night of live entertainment for us and our guests! From the start, Leanne and the team's services were super professional. After quickly responding to our initial enquiry and questions, we were invited to a rehearsal to check them out and see if the band's style was a fit for our event. Getting to meet Leanne, hearing her amazing vocal talent live, and seeing how well the band gelled together really put us at ease and confirmed they were going to be the right choice for our wedding. Communication and flexibility from the band leading up to and including the big day was excellent too such as promptly sharing PAT/PLI certificates for the venue, tailoring a varied set-list to our taste/audience, letting us choose a couple of our favourite songs for them to learn and perform, dealing with some speech over-runs compressing set-up time on the night, and even letting the Groom get up on stage with Leanne to sing a few verses of the kiwi classic 'Be Mine Tonight' and Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'' to the Bride! Everyone had a great night and we were all super impressed with Leanne's stunning vocals and the band's warm up-beat sound. If you're looking for a professional and reliable covers band with a vocalist that can cover a wide range of material and really get the party going, hire these guys!"

"From the moment we heard the band virtually, we knew we needed to book them for our wedding in Tuscany. As a bride from Canada I was worried about not being able to find a band for our ceremony and aperitif and not being able to hear them live as we would only be meeting them the day of the wedding. Ivan made us feel so confident in our choice and answered all our questions prior to booking, as well as assist in tailoring the song choices to our preference. The band was one of the highlights of our wedding and our guests could not stop talking about how talented and amazing they were. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting the perfect musical group to compliment their wedding."

"Best part of our reception One of our best experiences was working with Smooth Mood Project! When we first met with Vasia and John, we were blown away with how easy going they were, how receptive they were to our suggestions and taste in music, and how comfortable they made us feel. Both of them were very communicative, flexible, and extremely dependable -- three qualities we especially valued as we were planning a destination wedding. In terms of their actual performance on the wedding day, Smooth Mood Project went out of their way to make our day extra special. They are talented, warm, and so much fun! Our guests were blown away with their performance and raved about them -- the piano, the vocals, the stage presence were all enchanting. "Stéphan, un musicien talentueux, distingué et dynamique! J'ai eu la joie d'engager Stéphan comme saxophoniste pour mes 70 ans le 2 août 2025 lors d'un souper de fête entre amis chez moi. J'ai observé que Stéphan est passionné par sa musique et son instrument saxophone qu'il maîtrise à merveille avec une enthousiasme qui est contagieuse. Il nous avais offert une liste de choix et nous lui avons proposé certaines chansons aussi. Un beau mariage de slow et rythmes pour danser. Stéphan possède un sens élevé d'observation de l'environnement et des activités qui se passent autour de lui et sais s'ajuster pour se synchroniser avec vous et offrir le meilleur impact possible. Avoir Stéphan qui joue son saxophone pour une soirée est une vraie bénédiction. Nous avons eu tellement de plaisir à l'écouter et à s'amuser. Je recommande Stéphan à quiconque désire recruter un saxophoniste de choix et une personne avec une beauté d'âme et de coeur. Merci infiniment Stéphan! Suzanne"
