Review Centre: Pop / Rock Singers

"Matt performed solo for us on our wedding day (Friday 20th December 2019). We got married at Haarlem Mill in Wirksworth and had our reception at the same venue so Matt played/sang during our ceremony (including learning the song I walked down the aisle to), during our drinks reception, during the meal and then learnt a new song for our first dance as well. It must of been a really long day for him but he was amazing throughout and our guests are still raving about him. He created a great atmosphere throughout the day but especially during our wedding breakfast, you could immediately notice the huge difference the second he started playing, it made the meal feel so much livelier and upbeat. Matt even had people singing and swaying along to his singing whilst they ate their meals (plus he had all the kids up on the dance floor before pudding even arrived). He was friendly, helpful and polite throughout the booking process. Everything was streamlined and easy so we had no stress or concerns before the big day and we thought he was very very reasonably priced in comparison to similar acts. We'd 100% recommend Matt and we'll certainly hire him again for future events. Thanks for being part of our big day, you were amazing! Mr & Mrs White x (10 / 10)"

"Ben came to our home to play for our guests at our party (approx 70 people). What a fantastic night! We pre-booked Ben to do 3 sets between 20.00hrs and 23.oo hrs, in the end everyone wanted more so Ben agreed to stay for another hour. Ben built his song sets around requests we had made via email and played a bit of something for everyone. Ben was very professional throughout, very competitively priced (we looked at many), arriving well on time, listening to our requirements and most important delivered some superb acoustic music. If you are looking for some bouncy, current live music for any event I would highly recommend Ben based on our experience. Thanks again Ben, our guests are still talking about you. :)"

"These guys are absolutely, hands down, fantastic! I really couldn’t recommend them enough. They knew exactly how to get the crowd up and dancing and made our NYE a great success – it wouldn’t have been half as good without them! Plus everyone loved the way they took requests and played songs that people actually wanted to hear! They are so professional and flexible with what you need/want. "The Strip Lights were the perfect band for our 10th wedding anniversary celebration! Their outstanding musical talent, and seamless blend of genres kept everyone entertained, from children to grandparents alike. "Nadine Clarke Walsh Five stars really aren't enough for you Ian! I knew our entertainment would be safe in your hands but my God you exceeded both our expectations! Our guests are raving about the day and how good you were. The craic was 90 before the dinner even ended, it was hilarious. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a guaranteed fun event! "I literally spent hours researching local musicians for our wedding as I wanted them to be perfect and gosh I am SO happy that I chose Ed and Oliviya. They are simply AMAZING. They made my wedding simply perfect, all the guests are still talking about their talent and how incredible they were. My 1 year old Grandaughter was mesmerised by Oliviya who sang an entire song to her which made my heart melt. They were lovely people with incredible talent and I can’t rate them highly enough. "Ian was superb from the first time we met making us feel at ease as getting married abroad isn't an easy decision. Both with his singing, entertainment & Master of ceremonies we literally couldn't have asked for better. As we were at a remote villa he brings everything so for the evening music to the microphones for the ceremony itself. Superb & good northern lad as a bonus � Thanks again Ian."

"Wow, what can I say… Stefan was simply incredible and I’m beyond thankful he contributed greatly to such a special night. His communication was always prompt, effective and completely transparent, he was patient whilst I made multiple requests and had to change date fairly last minute. The performance itself was as magical as the evening, the songs I requested brought tears to my now fiancés face, incredibly talented individual and couldn’t recommend highly enough.
