"Marini was nothing short of amazing! She performed at my wife and I wedding early this April and from the moment we first connected she was great. She is excellent at communicating with the client leading up to the event and covering specific details which made everyone much more comfortable. By doing this she ensured there was no confusion and that we were all on the same page. She plays very elegant, warm, and smooth regardless of the piece and she was the perfect fit for our wedding. She had no problem taking song requests, even if they were new to her and played them so well that you would not have known she had just learned the song recently. We were very proud of the experience she created for us, as it will be a life long memory. I can not thank her more and she is 100% my first call in the event a violinist or pianist is ever needed again! A true professional from start to finish and even during the rehearsal and the day of ceremony!"

"We were unable to get a violinist that we knew to play at my daughter’s wedding. We had a few recommendations from others and after a lot of searching I stumbled across the site for Up State strings. Jada was wonderful to work with and this was a pretty short notice need. She was great at communicating with me and made it super easy to book her for the wedding. Jada arrived and was set up early. She was very professional and did an outstanding job with the music we requested. Would use her again and highly recommend her and Up State strings. Thank you Jada "

"The Pagliuca-Mena ensemble is incredible – and that is not a word I often use. I found it original, listenable and completely absorbing, not only for the musicians’ class but for the arrangements and the inclusion of so many different facets of music: It’s heavy on the jazz but also strong on the Latin, a little classical and even a touch of folk now and again. It is hard to put into words how struck I was listening to this so I am not going to try, but rather say if you want something very different but with enough familiarity to make it still comfortable, listen to this music. It takes a lot for me to get excited by a band on first hearing, but the Pagliuca-Mena Sextet instigated just that. They are one of the most exciting bands I have heard for a long time and the delivery of this music is truly exceptional. "

Mit dieser Wahl hätten wir es nicht besser treffen können. Von Anfang an hat uns seine Professionalität beeindruckt. Die Organisation verlief reibungslos, alle Absprachen wurden zuverlässig eingehalten und er war jederzeit erreichbar. Während der Veranstaltung selbst hat er es geschafft, den perfekten musikalischen Rahmen zu schaffen. Seine Musik war nie aufdringlich, aber immer präsent und hat maßgeblich zur eleganten und entspannten Stimmung beigetragen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist seine Vielseitigkeit: Er spielte sowohl klassische Stücke als auch bekannte Jazz-Standards und moderne Arrangements, immer mit viel Gefühl und technischer Perfektion.
