From the moment our guests arrived at the buffet, their talents shone through, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The saxophonist played beautifully, adding an elegant touch that set the mood perfectly. As the night progressed, the DJ seamlessly transitioned into energetic dance tracks, keeping everyone on their feet! Their ability to interpret the crowd and adapt to the vibe was impressive. "The Cheers were absolutely flawless from start to finish. They played for our wedding in September and were the perfect choice. We loved that we had some control in picking the songs, they were so friendly and professional throughout booking etc and the performance just blew us away!! Incredible sound. We've been to a few weddings this year and this band blew the other function bands we'd seen out of the water. Thank you so much!!"

"The Cheers are a real talent and brought our night alive! Our first dance went so well that people thought we'd prepared it! The set list you'd put together was so on point and us, and the backing music was really great too - watching my bride lose it at my chemical romance and fallout boy and rock out entirely was a moment that will live on happily from the day. " I have attended The Groove Primitive performances a few times through out the past few years, most notabaly at BarLove Portobello & Room 43 Lavender Hill. Thay are a superb collective of musicians led by Eddie Abdullah. The play funk, soul, jazz, groove & reggae, creating an amazing dance-inspired groove. Unique arrangements abound along with Eddie's own fresh, inventive ideas. Sublime vocals are also prominent and they interact with audience in a very personal, inclusive way. Very highly recommended! 10/10"
