"Nothing less than an authentic 10! The performance by DJ and tenor saxophonist Ruud de Vries exceeded more than our expectations, both in terms of the genre of music Ruud played and the quality of it. All our guests (including ourselves) were absolutely thrilled and experienced a fantastic swinging evening, particularly due to his performance. Several of our guests even asked us: 'Where did you actually find him?"

"Absolutely amazing. I was so sceptical about booking a saxophonist online without seeing them in real life. But Jan did not disappoint. He set a beautiful tone at our wedding with a chilled set in the late afternoon followed by a lively club set in the evening. He was phenomenal and our guests, my husband and myself loved him. "I was lucky enough to connect with Will around Memorial Day and we begin practicing early on in June. I hadn’t played my tenor sax in exactly 15 years but wanted to surprise my now Wife with a little performance at our wedding on November 3rd. I told Will exactly what I had in mind for the wedding and told him how long it had been since I played and Will was 100% on board. We primarily did lessons once per week at his apartment and he was even nice enough to hold my instrument in his apartment to assist with the surprise. He helped me get back in the swing of things with scales and things like that in the beginning and then we began practicing the music I wanted to play at my wedding. Will was incredible and very supportive every step of the way. He ended up playing his baritone sax so that I would stand out more on my tenor. He got us our backing tracks and even did our last lesson with me at my venue the day before the event. We primarily did Thursday lessons at the same time but he was always flexible on a day/time when things came up. His communication was amazing. When it came time for the big day and the surprise to come to fruition, it couldn’t have gone any better. We did our set right after the completion of dinner and My wife, my family and friends were stunned beyond belief and loved every second of the performance. The energy in the room was amazing. A perfectly executed surprise all thanks to Will. Our hard work really paid off. Nobody will ever forget my wedding and Will was finally able to meet my Wife and some others after our set. Everybody loved him as much as I have since Memorial Day. I plan on staying in touch with him indefinitely despite my wedding performance being done with now. Will is an expert on the saxophone and other instruments as well. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Nobody better out there for whatever you may need. A+. Thanks so much Will!"

"What a guy... Private little garden party for the Jubilee and Dave kept all entertained which was enjoyed by everyone. Will be using him.again and suggest anyone looking for a saxophonist gets in touch with him ASAP.... He even judged the cake competition. Thanks again Dave ?"

" When we set about choosing our nighttime entertainment for our wedding ceremony we wanted a band that would appeal to all, with a sense of fun - to get people up and dancing. We watched you on YouTube and read your reviews, it all seemed quite good. Your energy - live, on stage - was even better than we expected. We were also very impressed by your professionalism throughout the booking process and on the night itself. Judging by the numbers on the dance floor, I'd say the night was a success! "Had a great evening. Many guests were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed themselves. The combination of DJ and saxophone was fantastic. Ruud played perfectly to what we wanted to hear, especially since we had a diverse age range. There was suitable music for everyone and the music requests were also mixed in. Highly recommended for any party. Thank you Ruud, thanks to you we had a party that we will talk about for a long time. If we have another party in the future, we will definitely book Ruud again."

"Highly recommended Our party was beautiful and I feel I have to thank the Black Saxes from my heart! The boys proved to be available and nice already during the organizational phase: we set up a meeting at home, they showed us the best musical moments and above all they left us free to choose our favorite songs. A magical moment was certainly that of the ceremony: we were very amazed, including guests, at how the live sax elegantly accompanied my entrance to the altar. A beautiful surprise! Perfect entertainment and music also during the aperitif, dinner and after dinner. The set-up is also very nice. I recommend them to those looking for quality, original, engaging and never intrusive entertainment. Alberto and Paolo work as professionals and know how to manage parties and ceremonies. After dinner we all went wild together and we enjoyed their show with the illuminating saxes beyond expectations! I have received many compliments for them from our guests as well. Thank you guys!"

"Absolutely fabulous! Im guessing its not everyday you get asked to be a wedding surprise but Rory was incredibly professional and organised even when we were delayed. The performance was flawless and beautiful, and was probably the most memorable part of our day. We very much hope to hire him again for future occasions."

"Mark was fantastic throughout, the music was perfect for the setting and venue. He took up a fab position during the drinks reception that made for some great photos; a lot of the guests were raving about him. Mark also took the time to learn some songs that were personal to us for the first dance. Couldn’t fault him and would book him again if we have another celebration in the future! "
