" I have attended The Groove Primitive performances a few times through out the past few years, most notabaly at BarLove Portobello & Room 43 Lavender Hill. Thay are a superb collective of musicians led by Eddie Abdullah. The play funk, soul, jazz, groove & reggae, creating an amazing dance-inspired groove. Unique arrangements abound along with Eddie's own fresh, inventive ideas. Sublime vocals are also prominent and they interact with audience in a very personal, inclusive way. Very highly recommended! 10/10"

"We booked The Cheers for our wedding and they were awesome!! So many guests commented on how good the band was and we had a full dance floor throughout both sets. The lead singer was fabulous! Ben, the manager, was a delight to work with. Absolutely professional and very organised which meant they could set up easily and we could get on with everything else whilst they did so. They allowed us to generate a bespoke playlist from their repertoire and even learned a new song for our first dance. Couldn’t recommend The Cheers enough and would definitely use them again. "

"Our guests ranged in age from 18 to 90 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their music. They have a fabulous range of songs which kept our guests entertained. They are extremely professional and very easy to deal with. Our guests raved about them and we would thoroughly recommend them. They read the room perfectly and found a vibe our clientele was really into. They brought range, diversity and fun into their set. They really know how to work a crowd and would highly recommend!
