"I was looking for a strings musician to play for the moment I proposed to my partner in London just last week. Lucy Gijsbers did the most wonderful cello performance for my engagement at Leadenhall Market, and she was the most communicate and flexible throughout the whole process. The music was beautiful, I was able to select the set list I wanted and she was so accommodating as well with any new songs I proposed!! It was the most beautiful experience having her play the role she did at our engagement (proposal) and I know my finance Amanda and I, as well as our friends and families, will cherish the moment forever. Thank you for making our day so special, Lucy!!"

"After randomly finding a video online last year whilst looking for ideas for my 50th, I knew I had to book them. Nothing but professional, very responsive and their performance on the night was bloody brilliant. I wanted it a night to remember and confirm it is. I am now trying to find an excuse to book them again."

"We searched high and low until we found Cool and the Sun. But as soon as we heard them, it was a done deal. They’re incredible… Tayra is out of this world! We’ve booked them for the cocktail reception. We chose the songs with them, they arrived right on time, and all the guests were blown away by their talent. In fact, whilst we were having our photos taken by the photographers, we heard ‘Best Part’ and asked if that was the band. We were told it didn’t sound like it; it sounded like recorded music. Well, no, it was the band, with a sound quality that was out of this world."

"We just want to say a HUGE thank you for making our wedding so unbelievably amazing and fun!! We were honestly blown away by how fantastic yourself and the band were and cannot thank you enough. We have been inundated with messages from family and friends saying it’s the best wedding they have ever been to, mainly down to the band! The set up looked so professional and you all sounded brilliant. You had everyone aged from 5months to 86 years old on the dance floor and we didn’t stop partying all night! "

"A huge thank you Oak & Brass, for keeping us entertained all evening with your brilliant varied repertoire and friendly banter. Oak & Brass are very talented singers/guitarists, and able to adapt to so many different styles of song, giving some great entertainment.
