"Gloria and her guitarist came to sing at my mothers 70th ... I found Gloria through a recommendation and I was so pleased when she was able to do it . From the first point of contact through emails , she came across so kind and wanting to make sure we had the best music experience with her - and then when you meet her she is the most warm, beautiful smiley person... the night was a huge success - Gloria’s singing voice is stunning which I knew already and she just sings with such effortlessness ... I highly highly recommend Gloria and hope to see her perform again very soon! Thank you Gloria for making my mums birthday so special - you literally made the night !! "

I really can’t rate their performance highly enough. The fact that the dance floor was packed all night speaks volumes. They also interacted really well with the guests and were masters of picking songs that would go down well with everyone Sound quality and volume Were you happy with the quality of the sound? How was the volume level? Marks out of 10: 10 Your comments: Their sound setup made you feel like you were at a rock concert, rather than watching a regular wedding band play using amps that sound like tin cans. "Ed & Oliviya were amazing. They are very talented but also super friendly, relatable and tailored their music and style to our event and even were happy to accommodate an impromptu song or two! Lots of friends have already asked for their details. Beautiful voice and beautiful instrumental. Thanks for adding so much to our special party."

"We particularly wanted a soul band and during our seemingly endless search of bands we were just drawn to The Soul Department! They played at our evening wedding reception earlier this month. Good reviews usually state pros and cons however, the band genuinely do not have any cons! They were professional from the onset, sounded incredible, looked incredible, great repertoire, were brilliant fun and had our wedding party rockin'!!! From start to finish they had our guests on their feet, we loved every minute! Exactly what we wanted! Cannot recommend these guys enough, worth their weight in gold, definitely will book them again, no question!! Thank you, you were amazing!! Melanie Cook xx"

"Review of Trilby - The liner notes inform us that this ensemble started as a swinging dance band in 2005. Since then, they've evolved into a solid, well-arranged outfit with first rate solos played by intriguing, skilled jazz cats. The feeling I derived from the CD was similar to a classic Blue Note session. You know, several well-written originals that are melodically strong, and a few standards to test the players' chops on familiar material. The co-leaders play flugelhorn and trombone, respectively. Most of the arrangements come from pianist Bill Dobbins, who allows plenty of room for free-swinging solo work. The familiar vehicles here include Benny Golson's "Stablemates" and Sonny Stitt's "Eternal Triangle." I also spotted a tune called "Rich's Call" by Kerry Strayer, a baritone player of the highest stripe, and a skilled composer and arranger as well. It is interesting to note three compositions from jazz harmonica whiz, Hendrik Meurkens. Perhaps he has some connection to the band. Finally, it should be said that this session is directed straight down the middle of the bop highway. Simply an outstanding blowing session on songs that, amazingly enough, sound like songs!"

"Absolutely electrifying! This band turned our wedding reception into a full-on rock concert. Their high-energy takes on classic 70s and 80s anthems had everyone—from grandparents to the dance floor die-hards—on their feet non-stop. The guitarist's solos were pure fire, and the crowd interaction was spot-on. Booked them on a whim from GigHeaven, and it was the highlight of our big day."

"All we can say is Wow! Jay and his crew were amaaaaaazing! Truly made the night so memorable and fun. We couldn't be happier. From the minute they got to our house until they packed up their last instrument, they were nothing but professional, polite, respectful and friendly. And let's talk about how talented and entertaining they were! Even our neighbors said that they sat in their driveway and enjoyed the sounds of the evening. They truly ""brought the house down"" and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative. We thanked Jay, and Rob's in touch w him about Venmo-ing, what we hope is a generous tip for him and his band. "Der Auftritt der Skyline Club Band auf dem Gala Event der Kinderhilfestiftung war ein Highlight. Die Band hat es selbst am Ende der Veranstaltung geschafft, den Großteil der Teilnehmer noch zum Tanzen auf die Bühne zu bringen. Die Vorbesprechung war absolut unkompliziert, die Abwicklung sehr professionell und die Darbietung absolut überzeugend, die Musikauswahl top und entsprechend den Bedürfnissen des Publikums . Skyline Club Band kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen!"

"I saw this band last night at the Port House in Stourport and honestly, they’re the best live band I’ve seen in a long time. From the first song to the last, they absolutely nailed it. The energy in the room was amazing — you could tell they weren’t just playing songs, they were putting on a proper show. The vocals were spot on and the setlist was perfect for the crowd. Every song had people singing along, dancing, or filming because it was just that good 🤘🎸 🥁"
