From great instrumentalists to a brilliant lead vocalist and reading the crowd and choosing the perfect song for the moment. "We hired the band for our wedding day, and honestly couldn’t sing their praises any higher. We paid for the additional brass section and also for the photo booth service they provided. Both were absolutely worth the money, and added real value to our day. Paul was a real pleasure and always contactable in the build up to the wedding. He accommodated our requests and was always super quick to respond to any queries we had. On the day, they were extremely discreet in the set-up and brought real energy to their set. The second set (after all the guests had had a few more beverages…) kept the dance floor filled, and the band’s sound was honestly impeccable. The lead singer was ridiculously good (I can’t stress this enough), and the rest of the band provided an absolutely flawless accompaniment. The song banks they crafted were meticulously put together allowing for seamless transitions through songs."

" Tikkiemeertikkieminder played with two band members in our restaurant during the Leiden Jazz Week. We organized a dinner with live music. It was a very successful evening. The singing and guitar sounded great together and the band played suitable and fun songs. Definitely worth repeating! We were very happy with the performance and the course of the evening. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy, exactly what we wanted."

"We had the joy of taking Fanfare Express for our wedding, and they were excellent. They are well adapted to difficult conditions: capricious weather, delayed schedule as a result, ... And they created a magnificent atmosphere which delighted all the guests and especially us. Modern repertoire that had everyone spinning at the cocktail party."

"The band set up all through the one system to keep the volume at a suitable level for a BBQ in my garden. The performance was outstanding and they were friendly, professional and most of all great fun. Definitely recommend them!"

"We were absolutely blown away by this band!!! Initially, I just didn't want to go but so glad my wife talked me into it. We knew every song and the energy that these folks put out was absolutely incredible. The lead singer was quite a bit bigger than Phil Collins, but his voice and over the top energy were quite impressive. Powerful horn section really made it special. Highly recommended!"

"Fantastic Band. Absolutely brilliant band, they had everyone up dancing from start to finish. I couldn't thank them enough for helping make our wedding night the best of our lives. From the moment we booked them, they were amazing, giving us advice on timings etc. It was such an easy process, they liaised with the venue so we didn't have to stress at all.
