"I booked Jahangir for a house party recently and it was one of the best decisions I made! Jahangir is a talented singer and musician. He has a vast repertoire and covers a wide range of songs. His song selection was on point and eagerly took requests from the guests. The atmosphere he created made the event a memorable one. I highly recommend him everyone! Thank you Jahangir!"

His ability to captivate you in his music and let you relax and fall into the story of song, is desirable. On top, he was professional, kind and a pleasure to be around. All my guests (as did I) thought you were a truly talented individual and your music certainly set the scene for the rest of the night. Anna and James particularly enjoyed your rendition of Piano Man – it’s their all time favourite so to have you sing it to them was a real treat and made their night. "Rating 5/6 : Very Enjoyable Absolute Mayhem The Horse & Chains, Bushey on Saturday 30 September 2023 It's a rare thing to go into a local pub and hear a keyboard player who has been described as a musical "genius" by none other than David Bowie. This is no tall story either. The musician Billy Ritchie was the first player in rock music to give keyboards a prominent role -- and that was before Keith Emerson (ELP) and Rick Wakeman came on the scene. Billy told me that he remained good friends with the Thin White Duke until his death in 2016. Lanark-born Mr Ritchie now provides the skilful and fancy keyboards and records backing tracks for his latest incarnation Mayhem with talented female singer Carol Leslie. Carol is a really strong vocalist with a gutsy style. This dynamic duo started their first set at the cosy Sebright Arms with Elvis's late sixties' classic Suspicious Minds. The second song was a surprise -- Kirsty MacColl's comedy number There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears His Elvis. It was a perfect choice after the first song. Carol and Billy select their material wisely and give their audience something very different from the predictable Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and I Saw Her Standing There, churned out by so many pub bands. So it was great to hear Georgio Moroder and Phil Oakey's electro smash Together In Electric Dreams, Matchbox's catchy rocker Rockabilly Rebel, Starship's uplifting We Built This City (on which Billy demonstrated his keyboard dexterity) and Solomon Burke's gospel-ish Cry To Me. And that was just the first half. Carol is happy to tackle songs usually associated with male vocalists and she started part two with a raucous version of Bryan Adams' rocker Summer Of 69. If you have never seen Mayhem, ask Billy to perform Light My Fire, the Doors rock classic from 1967. This was a sheer musical masterclass as he re-created both vocally and instrumentally this great song. Billy has a rich, tuneful voice and this was a stunning performance. Other highlights in the second half included Journey's rock anthem Don't Stop Believing, Carol's gritty interpretation if Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman and a fine performance of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer A total of 24 songs and I cannot wait to see this duo again. My only concern is their name. I think many club and pubgoers might think Mayhem are a heavy metal band rather than an all-round, top class duo. "I hired Scott for my 40th birthday party. I asked him to play for a few hours while everyone arrived and also through dinner. He was AMAZING! I have had so many messages saying what an amazing addition to my party that was. He sang classics like Billy Joel, Elton John, Frank Sinatra . His voice is incredible and I will absolutely be hiring him for future events. Thanks Scott for making the night so fun!!!"

"HayLee was fantastic! What a great band!! They were a pleasure to deal with in the run up to our wedding, and lovely to meet on the day. Hayley and Lee were so professional, and they played a variety of songs that had plenty of our guests up on the dance floor, some of whom we wouldn't have expected to be up and dancing! They read the audience perfectly, and as others have mentioned, they learnt some tracks that we had asked for specifically. As we had a Christmas wedding, we had a sprinkle of Christmas songs mixed in, which was ideal, and a lovely 'live lounge' session as the evening wound down. We would definitely recommend HayLee, and if we need a band again in the future, they will be top of our list of invites! Thank you again! Hayley and Lee "

"I organized a private birthday celebration in Rome and wanted to create a refined and unforgettable atmosphere. Hiring this pianist turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. From the first contact, I was impressed by the clarity of communication and the genuine interest in understanding my expectations. We discussed the structure of the evening and the type of music that would best suit each moment. The pianist provided excellent suggestions while remaining open to my personal preferences. This collaborative approach made the entire planning process both easy and enjoyable. On the day of the event, everything was handled with precision and professionalism. The setup was completed efficiently, and the performance began exactly as planned. The music during the reception was elegant and perfectly balanced, creating a warm and welcoming environment. As the evening progressed, the repertoire adapted beautifully to the mood of the guests. There was a wonderful mix of classical pieces and more modern arrangements, all performed with great sensitivity and technical excellence. The music never felt overwhelming but always contributed to the overall ambiance. Many of my guests commented on how much they enjoyed the live piano music, and several described it as one of the highlights of the evening. It added a level of sophistication that would have been impossible to achieve otherwise. I would highly recommend this pianist to anyone looking for high-quality live music in Rome."
