"Owning a wine bar that featured musicians was a treat, but one of my very favorite bands to listen to and work with was The Magpies. Everyone knows the songs in their repertoire, and their personalities made them a joy to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough! Kelly @ Sips & Gulps"

"We just wanted to pass on a huge thank you to you guys for such an amazing ceilidh that you put on for us on Saturday. We had an amazing night and we were just reflecting today on how the strip the willow might have been in our top 3 moments of the wedding - we had so much fun, everyone else was having fun and that was the moment we got to look around and realise how perfectly the day had gone. And I am sure I mentioned on the night that Wallace and Gromit was such a perfect song to play during the Gay Gordon’s - that show means more to us than you would ever have known when you played it!"

We were enormously grateful for their commitment and energy which greatly enhanced our event. They were wonderful to work with, friendly and passionate about what they do. "The Annasach Ceilidh Band made the evening of our wedding in The Netherlands unforgettable, motivating Dutch and French feet alike to dance the Scottish steps. Even my 62-year-old aunt was on her feet all evening and remarked at the end that from now on, she only wants Scottish weddings. The band also dealt very professionally with some unforeseen circumstances, rebooking their own flights when their original flights were cancelled, taking a lot of stress away from us. I will happily recommend them for any wedding or party in Scotland or abroad, and look forward to visiting one of their Ceilidhs in Edinburgh when we next find ourselves there!"

"Emil was very professional. Arrived to the venue well ahead of event starting time to set-up everything and do sound check. Entertainment provided was exactly what we had requested and provided pleasant background music. Lovely Spanish autistic music :) "

"I booked Blag back in November 2018 and everything was very straightforward. Adrian, David and Michael were all very friendly and very professional. They arrived in plenty of time and set up with minimum impact on the rest of the party. They played at my 60th birthday party and played a mixture of ceilidh music to dance to, and other music in between, while we recovered !! Michael is a very good caller and, although we only had one experienced ceilidh dancer in our group, he was able to teach us quite a few dances. I absolutely loved my party and several of my guests also commented on how good the band were, and how much they'd enjoyed the whole evening. The last dance we did was definitely my favourite - lots of couples dancing in a big circle, gradually getting faster and faster !! Thanks again Blag !"
