"Fantastic band. All our guests loved them and their music. Very charismatic and friendly. Great choice for a wedding band, they had everyone up and dancing. They arrived early and set up easily, very nice guys and easy to chat to. Played our choice of a first dance song which they played very well. We will be watching out for them playing elsewhere and we would highly recommend them to anyone wanting some great live music."

"Over the top entertainment was provided by Mr. Murphy, aka Billy Gumbo. He started with traditional Oktoberfest music, mixed in Cajun songs, some Tex Mex and even some Rocktoberfest music! He is very personable and entertaining, getting the crowd involved and even winding them up into a screaming frenzy! He met the odd requests of Italian songs and Irish punk polkas. It was a 4 hour event and he squeezed every ounce he had into the show. Highly recommend. "

"I booked Blag back in November 2018 and everything was very straightforward. Adrian, David and Michael were all very friendly and very professional. They arrived in plenty of time and set up with minimum impact on the rest of the party. They played at my 60th birthday party and played a mixture of ceilidh music to dance to, and other music in between, while we recovered !! Michael is a very good caller and, although we only had one experienced ceilidh dancer in our group, he was able to teach us quite a few dances. I absolutely loved my party and several of my guests also commented on how good the band were, and how much they'd enjoyed the whole evening. The last dance we did was definitely my favourite - lots of couples dancing in a big circle, gradually getting faster and faster !! Thanks again Blag !"

"Highlight of our Event Coal #9 was the highlight of our backyard party. From the initial booking onward working with the band was effortless. Communication was excellent throughout. The band had to adjust their setup for our backyard but adjusted on the fly and without any loss in performance or complaint. Our guests raved at the quality of their performance. Band members were friendly and warm and their presence added to the evenings ambiance. We are so thankful that we go Coal #9 to perform at our event and highly recommend you consider them for your event. "Booked these guys for my sister's hen party and they were brilliant. From the surprise entrance into the garden when no one was expecting them to the impromptu conga line dancing – they entertained us superbly. Several neighbours got in touch to say they'd brought a welcome spirit of Mexico to the village as they could hear the fabulous music in their gardens too. "
