"Swing Shift played at our wedding, a modest affair with 200 of our closest friends and family. After our wedding dance, a foxtrot, the band started into that great swing tune, "In the Mood". Everyone, and we do mean everyone, ran onto the dance floor and danced the night away. What a magical evening!!! Bob and Karen PS: I have attached one of our favourite photos from the evening. "

"I highly recommend TRACE for any function wanting to get the party started. A BIG thank you to the whole band for playing at our wedding. My family could not contain themselves & were even up on the dance floor for the dinner music during entrees. I hear they requested numerous encores at the end of the night!"

"Purple llamas performed a brilliant turn at The Surrey Steampunk Convivial. Even when their 30 minute set followed an exciting and vibrant band, they managed by hook or by crook to get absolutely everyone on their feet and dancing; Fantastic value, great fun - and we’d love to have them back again and again!"

"We had such good feedback about your performance! Everyone that came had a great time and that’s definitely down to the superb music and also the very well-explained and inclusive calling. I honestly would not have believed that the majority of people dancing were new to ceilidh dancing from watching them, they all took to it really fast. We’d love it if you’d like to play again as the band was definitely the key to the success of the night. Also let me know if you want a glowing quote for your website or anything, very happy to oblige!"

"Mike and the Secrets have a great diversity of songs. They are a tight band with a lot of energy. I especially enjoy their bluesy numbers. They play good covers and their original works are pretty cool. They will certainly get your party started!"

"We thought the evening went brilliantly, and there has been nothing but positive feedback from everyone who went! We especially thought that Annie (the caller) was fantastic, and we enjoyed the little jam session that you had while we had a breather. We would be keen to book you again for our annual ceilidh, as well as for a Club celebration we are organising in the summer."
