I do have the 4th Friday of every month booked already but other than that the calendar is open. Please let me know when you all are available, thank you. "Both the bride and groom and I were very pleased with your presence and the atmospheric music that you played. The guests also gave us good feedback. It is precisely the subtle, warm sound that is not intrusive but does provide the right atmosphere and swinging note that makes everything at such a reception just right. That is great class."

"Frank Doherty and Ben Gunnery turned a family party into a proper ‘hooley’! From folk songs, to ballads, to the Siege of Ennis, they cranked up the volume when we wanted everyone up on the dance floor, but also allowed the fiddle, guitar and tin whistle to play quietly in the background when people wanted to sit & talk. Two very good Irish musicians; well-played lads ‘go raibh mait agat’!"

"Sass Monkey is amazing! They are excellent communicators, organized, professional, and, most importantly, fantastic musicians! They put on a wonderful 40th anniversary celebration for our parents and we cannot say enough great things about them! They played an outstanding variety of music— all genres and all decades! I would highly recommend!"

"The best group on the costa, very entertaining. Never been to one of their gigs and the place was empty, always a crowd, even when it was raining one night, they didn't stop play and we all danced in the rain, guaranteed a brilliant night, a fantastic band, and the lads are lovely. A band not to be missed.."

"Just a quick note to thank you to you and the band for all your work towards Saturday evening at Chawton Ball. You were prompt and flexible, particularly when our start timings shifted a bit! As I mentioned, there was quite a bit at stake and usual high expectations from the band – and you definitely pulled it off: the dance floor was fit to burst and everyone begged for more! Thanks for creating a playlist for us, too and patiently dealing with the quirks of working with volunteers. Overall the evening was a success (and that’s a huge relief!)."

"Joshua performed 5 songs in my friends wedding at the Newport Beach Yacht Club for over 135 people and was incredible. His range of selection and style is vast and his voice and guitar playing are at a master level. His three decades of performance experience definitely show. When your event really matters Joshua can deliver perfection! "

"Great musicians and great people. I asked them if they knew our wedding song - they both said no, but said don't worry we'll learn it! Sure enough they did and then some.
