"Fun and professionalism guaranteed! We chose the Self Portrait Blues based on a recommendation from a vendor we met during the organization of our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice! They are friendly, empathetic from the first moment, extremely talented, professional, helpful, and engaging. Their music is amazing, and they can elegantly and delicately involve all the guests without ever being intrusive. They were always available for every request and patient with unexpected situations! We still receive many compliments for choosing the musical band, and we will never stop thanking them for everything they did for us; our wedding would never have been the same without them. "The ceremony was beautiful. We entrusted Dona Ofélia with our religious ceremony and we couldn't have made a better choice. They accommodated our requests and were flexible with the adjustments requested by the parish priest. Everyone praised them. We wouldn't change a thing and highly recommend them 🥰"

"La colonna sonora perfetta per il nostro matrimonio. I Self Portrait Blues ci hanno accompagnato durante tutto il nostro matrimonio, dal rito alla fine del ricevimento, regalando con le loro note emozioni e divertimento. Una band composta da musicisti professionisti, che sanno coinvolgere, divertire e far ballare gli ospiti, adattandosi perfettamente ai vari momenti della festa. Abbiamo scelto i brani che hanno segnato la nostra vita sino ad ora e loro li hanno resi più preziosi con i loro arrangiamenti, dalle nostre entrate al primo ballo. In conclusione una band eccezionale che consigliamo a tutti !!"

"Miss Pearl was a huge hit at our Jubilee afternoon tea (Age UK Carlisle & Eden) Happy faces all round, singing and dancing in the aisles. Miss Pearl sang songs through the decades so something for everyone. We will definitely be booking her again for future events. Excellent, Thank You"

"These guys have played at our venue a couple of times and ech tome the crowd loved them. Fun band who play standard rock n roll songs alongside more modern songs that they do in their own style. Brilliant "

"L’efficacité de la musique dans les cinq films de Quentin Tarantino a beaucoup à voir avec la façon dont il perçoit la musique. Tarantino pense que les chansons en général fonctionnent comme des films miniatures. Il regarde la musique comme un moyen de prolonger les intrigues de ses films. La bande originale a la responsabilité non seulement de donner le ton de la scène, mais aussi d'apporter de la clarté aux émotions qui ne sont pas pleinement exprimées par les personnages. Tout cela fonctionne de manière transparente parce que Tarantino entend d'abord la chanson, puis écrit une scène autour d'elle. Il n'est donc pas surprenant que la musique ait un impact si remarquable dans ses films. Comment la musique affecte-t-elle la façon dont on perçoit les films de Tarantino ? Il est vrai que toute musique fera réagir le spectateur émotionnellement, mais ce qui compte pour Tarantino, c'est que, la plupart du temps, la musique produit ce qu'il perçoit comme l'impact émotionnel «approprié» sur une scène. Par exemple, si quelque chose d'autre que "Stuck in the Middle With You" avait été choisi pour accompagner la scène "du coupage d’oreille" dans Reservoir Dogs, le public n'aurait peut-être jamais connu les tendances sadiques de Mr Blonde. La clé du succès de Tarantino en évitant la musique perçue comme juste «suffisante» est qu'il écrit tous ses scénarios de film avec une musique spécifique à l'esprit. En étant déterminé dans sa sélection, Tarantino s'assure que la musique de Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol.1 et Kill Bill Vol. 2 joue un rôle actif dans la structure narrative du film et, tout aussi important, qu'il fait quelque chose dont le public voudra se souvenir. Ce sont ces souvenirs que souhaite faire resurgir chez le spectateur les membre de Call me Winston. Cet orchestre « tribute band » nouvellement créé sur la Côte d’Azur est unique dans la Région Sud. Avec ses 10 membres, (chanteur, chanteuse, guitare, basse, batterie, percussion, claviers trompette, saxophone alto, saxophone baryton), il vous remémorera les meilleurs moments de films de Tarantino à travers leur bande son. "The Hoedown Band were quite simply awesome!! We had a triple 50th Birthday at the local hall ... We had 146 people who all had the best night ever so they say, thanks in no small part to Dawn and the band. The musicianship was excellent and Dawn’s calls were clear and easy to follow and she was roving around and leading each group until we got it and went full steam ahead with the band ripping into it. I cannot recommend this band enough. They exceeded our expectations and once again made our party what it was. Thank you guys and girls!"

"Shout out to Jason for making my hubby's 60th birthday celebrations so much more enjoyable. Any song requests we had Jason was happy to make our choice of music happen. We added karaoke and Jason was more than happy to share the stage and mic. Jason was on time and had a great set-up, lights, posters and his guitar, sang and got the guests singing. Thank you Jason. "We chose Dona Ofélia to play and sing during our church ceremony. We chose the trio: voice, guitar, and violin. Unfortunately, the violinist was injured and they asked us if we would mind if they used a cello instead of a violin. We agreed and we don't regret it. It was a beautiful ceremony. All of our guests gave us great feedback. We recommend them."
