"Reviewed on: 12/28/2024 Le'Mixx is an eclectic bunch of talented musicians that exceeded our expectations. We didn't want a band that would perform the go-to tracks of the wedding circuit. We wanted a seasoned band to perform live music in genres ranging from Funk to R&B. Their band showcased tunes with woodwind & brass instruments and live vocals from their lead singer and all performers. The band informed us of all their necessities in advance and arrived early. The band also provided all the necessary equipment, like microphones and speakers. Our young and wise guests found themselves all on the dance floor from the energy Le'Mixx created. "

"An atmospheric and Christmassy decorated theatre cafĂ© forms the setting for this year's Yes Jazz Christmas MatinĂ©e. It is pleasantly busy. Many music lovers choose the warmth of the Yes Jazz theatre cafĂ© of De Hofnar on this cold Sunday afternoon. Gipsy jazz is popular and Christmas music always goes down well. When these two come together, you can of course count on a special afternoon. And that is what it will be. The music is beautiful. A beautiful singer and three excellent musicians ensure a beautiful Christmas MatinĂ©e. This quartet clearly shows that many different types of music can be cast in the mould of the gipsy style. Django Reinhardt resonates in everything. The tight foundation is audible in Ronald Weel's rhythm guitar and on DaniĂ«l Gueli's double bass. You can build on this. The solo guitar and the singer provide the leading parts. Marcia Bamberg stands out because of her clear voice: crystal clear and velvety soft where necessary. The improvisations of the solo guitarist, John Lighart, are smooth and inventive. Sometimes very virtuoso. The repertoire is especially very versatile. From French chansons to well-known jazz standards. Of course, the big Christmas hits are not missing. Night and Day, After youâve gone, but also Belle Histoire and La vie en rose come in beautiful arrangements from the Yes Jazz stage. Christmas has started well! "

"Highlight of the wedding! The Brogues were such a fantastic part of our wedding. They called the dances in a clear but fun way, which made everyone want to get involved. Their playing was top-notch. We were delighted to have them at our wedding, and would definitely recommend them to others!"

"We hired Soul Boulevard for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! They brought an incredible energy to our wedding party, all the band members were so talented! Matt really took the time before our wedding to work out exactly what we wanted for the big day from set lists to the first dance song. If youâre looking for a fun funk/disco band for your wedding these are your guys!"

"A positive review? But no, they are much more! A super close-knit group (I would listen to them live whenever I had the chance), maximum musical professionalism, they opened the cherry festival after a two-year stop with a fabulous 70/80/90 sound and thanks to their sympathy and availability. Simply superior, for all those who want to stand out in the best Overfunk Band."

"Raquel and her amazing band (Raquel's riot) is an amazing group!! If your looking to hire a band look no farther đ amazing vocals and omg the band is awesome talk about talent. This year they did the big event for girl guides and my niece who is 10 years old still talks about how much fun it was. I've had the opportunity to go see them live and omg!!!!! Make sure you book in advance as you don't want to miss an opportunity to hire them đ"

"Brass Monkees played at our Summer Party on Saturday after coming highly recommended to us and they certainly didn't disappoint! The band were full of energy and the dance floor was buzzing all evening. We've had so many great comments from everyone, they really helped to make the party a big success. A great combination of songs and a really great touch coming out into the crowd, standing on chairs to play their instruments, fabulous!"

"We were thrilled to have Vibez Groovers perform at our Christmas Lights Switch On event in Streatham. Owen, Warren, Evan & Dave were the perfect additions to the day; they kept the crowd engaged, entertained (and warm!) throughout the entire day. You could feel their genuine passion for music and their incredible talent left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. Highly recommended and can't wait to book them again."

"As soon as we saw them with my partner, we knew they were the band we wanted for our wedding. What caught our attention the most was their styleâwe were looking for something different. They played hit after hit, and even prepared our favorite song to add to their setlist. We got married in Tarragona last year and couldnât be happier with our decision to hire them.
