You brought real life to the library; it was wonderful to see the children dancing, and quite a number of library users who hadn’t sat to listen came up to me from their computers or studying to say what a wonderful atmosphere your playing created. "I had the pleasure of experiencing "Dare To Love Music," and they were absolutely fantastic! What truly stood out was the connection they created with everyone at the event. Rather than staying confined to the stage, they stepped out and interacted with the crowd, singing and playing among us, which made the entire experience feel intimate and special. Their chemistry as both performers and as a couple was refreshing to see, adding an unforgettable touch to the occasion. I highly recommend them for any event!"

"We searched high and low until we found Cool and the Sun. But as soon as we heard them, it was a done deal. They’re incredible… Tayra is out of this world! We’ve booked them for the cocktail reception. We chose the songs with them, they arrived right on time, and all the guests were blown away by their talent. In fact, whilst we were having our photos taken by the photographers, we heard ‘Best Part’ and asked if that was the band. We were told it didn’t sound like it; it sounded like recorded music. Well, no, it was the band, with a sound quality that was out of this world."

"We could not have asked for a better band for our wedding- they were truly awesome!! Everyone was amazed by their voices and entertainment- we had lots of guests compliment them. They really kept the party going! They were also very accommodating (they had to learn the song for our first dance) and very easy/friendly to work with. Would definitely use them again, and can only recommend to anyone else!! "

"From the time of our booking mid 2024 to our event in late March 2025, Leighton Gates has just been superb to work with in all aspects of our event planning. Saturday night was just brilliant with our 450 Rotarians and Rotaractors dancing the night away. From the second song onwards, we danced until the last song at nights end. Honi and Phil and the Standard Procedure band were just brilliant and did not miss a note! Thank you Leighton and your team and we look forward to seeing - and hearing you again soon!"

"Wow, what a wonderful evening! Last Friday night was so much fun and it was such a real pleasure to collaborate with you all at Cat's Claw. It was a magical night and it was lovely to see the two worlds of music come together so successfully. Our musicians from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales very much enjoyed working with you all and it was great to hear that you too all had a great time. I also think that from the audience's reaction that everyone who was present also very much enjoyed the evening. In particular, my Mum absolutely LOVED the evening and was blown away by hearing all of the music that she loves so much played so brilliantly! Sincere thanks for your invaluable contribution to such a special evening celebrating St David's Day. "

"Book them! No, really BOOK THEM. What a Wedding Day we had topped off with a Twist of Rock. Communication was great with Dave. They learnt a song for us. They Rocked up on time and then rocked out. Two great sets of music, selected from their extensive play list. All our guests were in awe of how amazing Twist of Rock were, they filled the dance floor.
