"Last night I met up with some pals down at the very hospitable Mermaid Inn to check out the latest musical venture of the great Harmonica Lewinsky. We’ve always been highly entertained by his music hall/cockney act and indeed his 60s/70s cover material, but this was to be something of a completely different flavour – a country/ western swing experience! Launching into ‘Glendale Train’, Lewinsky and his band, The Highway Patrol, soon had the place rocking. The sound of finger pickin’ Dzal Martin’s Telecaster was the perfect accompaniment and upright bass player Ewan Penkey’s rhythm proved that no drummer was required. As well as rockers such as ‘Panama Red’, ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ and the brilliant tongue-twisting ‘Hot Rod Lincoln’, Lewinsky and the boys were also able to deliver truly 'hurtin' & heartbreaking' melancholy classics such as Warren Zevon’s ‘Carmelita’ and Kenny Rogers’ ‘Ruby’. Their touching version of Commander Cody’s ‘Seeds & Stems Blues’, featuring the wonderful pedal-steel guitar playing of John Davis, (who had been impeccable all evening) had me almost crying into my pretzels. Personality and humour has always been an important part of Harmonica Lewinsky’s act and, with his usual banter and rapport, he certainly didn’t let us down. We particularly enjoyed the tongue-in cheek ‘All My Exes Live in Texas’. Thanks for a great night, boys – we look forward to the next time."

"¡Un cumpleaños inolvidable! Celebramos un cumpleaños muy especial en Granada con un taller de baile flamenco impartido por Laura Vargas y Violeta Ruiz, y fue todo un acierto. Durante una hora nos hicieron disfrutar, reÃr y bailar sin parar. Su energÃa, simpatÃa y profesionalidad crearon un ambiente divertidÃsimo y muy animado. ¡Nos lo pasamos de lujo! "George Zebra made our wedding party a night to remember! Our guests keep telling us how great they were! They learned and played our first dance song well so we could perform our choreographed dance - it couldn't have been more perfect! Highly recommend the soloist for our ceremony and drinks too, the perfect backdrop we wanted :)"

"David WOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone had a completely brilliant time! It was just the business. Thankyou so much, you were all great. What a party, what a party!! Loads of emails, texts and cards saying it was the best party they had ever been to since.......errr.......oh that's right, since your last party for us! I am so impressed by your musicians........and the girls!!!!!! They were great! They were so into it, it was an evening's entertainment on its own just watching them! Loved the way the sax player joined in with the singing in the last few songs, and you are all such pleasant people, which just adds to a general feeling of excellentness! Utterly, utterly great, thanks from the bottom of my heart, it was a truly wonderful evening. Hope you got home at some sort of reasonable time!
