Soft, mesmerizing chords of Chopin’s Ballade No.1 floated through the air, instantly enveloping everyone in a cocoon of sophistication. "The regular pianist at our Church got sick on Friday evening, meaning Marini only had a day to learn nearly a dozen pieces, most of which were unfamiliar to her, including a choir performance. She adapted quickly to our liturgy, and managed to beautifully play everything from ancient chants to modern hymns. Not only did she perform well, she was also communicative, professional, and punctual. I look forward to working with her again!"

Now she sums up her career so far with her latest album TRES: BEST OF PAZ DEL CASTILLO. But this is more than just a Best Of compilation. Yes, it does have eight of the best tracks from her studio albums over the past few years, but it also has three new tunes never before on an album, plus two pieces from her first album which was primarily heard just in Spain. This means a big chunk of this album is new to the world. "Kathrin Eigendorf hat auf unserem großen Geburtstagsfest zwischen dem Essen und dem Start der Tanzparty gesungen. Es war großartig. Sie hat alle Gäste von ihren Stühlen „geholt“, zum Mitsingen gebracht und auf diese Weise eine super Stimmung produziert. Alle waren danach happy und zum richtig feiern motiviert.
