Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"We booked The Hound Dogs for our wedding on 1st September. It was a bit of a risk as we had never heard them play and found them whilst searching for a wedding band. However as soon as Nigel contacted us and then met us in person we knew we were in good hands. On the day, the guys were everything we wanted and more. They got everyone up dancing and were great musicians, as well as loads of fun. Everyone said they were fab! In between sets and afterwards Nigel provided DJ services until 1am and, even though it was a Monday night, there were still lots of people on the dance floor. He catered for our diverse requests - salsa tunes, funk and soul and latest dance tunes. Thanks guys, thoroughly recommend! Rachel and Nick xx"

"What a show! I'm 45 years in the restaurant/banquet business and I can honestly say Steve "Elvis" Gold was the best entertainer we've hired throughout the decades...his Elvis portrayal and show surpassed all of our expectations...he delivered on everything he promised. We had 80-100 attendees who thoroughly enjoyed the party and are still thanking us for inviting them to "best party" they've ever been too. To top everything off...he brought out a surprise guest...THE beautiful Marilyn Monroe! Marilyn sang Happy Birthday to the guest of honor, among other songs. It couldn't have been a more perfect evening. We are located at Los Angeles harbor and they arrived early all the way from Las Vegas to set up and prepare...VIVA ELVIS & MARILYN ❤️ We wouldn't hesitate to hire you again "

"What a fantastic band. Played at our daughter and son in laws wedding and provided a brilliant evening. Everyone was joining in the dancing and singing to a great play list. Totally made the evening special can highly recommend these guys."

"There are songs that just stand out because they are so different from everything out there. “Stay Down Kat”, by The Unknowns, is definitely one of those songs. There’s a suave, jazzy, bluesy feel to this song, with great lead and backing vocals. It’s sultry, sensual, mysterious, and controlled, yet it has its powerful moments. And who can resist a great sax solo? Those things will draw you in, and soon The Unknowns will be known. They are Kim Bowman (vocals, piano), Caitie Bowel (vocals, guitars), Allison Bowman (vocals, ukulele), Sarah Yates (acoustic bass), and Melanie Sehman (drums) "

"Chloe's Wedding in Pentland Hills, Nov 2024 Andrew was incredible. We hired him for both my dad's 60th and then my wedding a few weeks later and both times he blew us away. All of our guests were commenting on how good he was. We just let him do his thing and he gauged the audience and played the perfect music. We not only love his style and voice but him as a person, he was an absolute delight to have on our special days. "

"We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding! From start to finish, they were absolutely phenomenal. The singer’s voice was incredible -we had so many guests come up to us saying the same thing: “They’re way too talented to be playing at a wedding!” They brought such a fun, vibrant energy to the evening, engaging with the crowd effortlessly and getting everyone on the dance floor right from the first song. They nailed the vibe, the setlist was perfect, and their presence made the night feel even more special. We’d book them again in a heartbeat if we had the excuse, but fingers crossed, this is our one and only wedding! Huge thanks to the whole band for making it unforgettable."
