"Thank you so much for performing at our wedding! What a top act! You really brought the vibe as soon as the ceremony was over! All of our guests and us loved it! You have been so easy to work with on the run up to the wedding as well. Highly, highly recommended! I also appreciate you catching some behind the scenes footage which I am able to watch before the official photo release. Thank you!"

"We hired this group for our 25th wedding anniversary from start to finish the communication was outstanding we could of not wished for a better group to support our evening they asked before hand what sort of music we liked by suppling us with a music list we only crossed of one song and this was a Christmas song as it was August lol "

"A fantastic lively band, with a great selection of songs, old and new! The band members were good fun and really worked with the atmosphere of the wedding guests to make it a brilliant evening! Everyone was up singing and dancing till the end with not a spare space on the dance floor! Personable and bold !"

"“Seven Sober Nights” by The Beer Mats is a cheerful and witty Irish folk CD. Stunning musicianship can be found on all ‘seven nights’ of this record! The use of traditional Irish instruments coupled with beautiful violins, acoustic guitars, and banjos make an unbeatable musical mixture! The title track accurately represents the light-hearted, humorous lyrical approach of The Beer Mats. Moreover, the vocals on these songs are jam-packed with fun personality! Putting the finishing ingredient in this potent brew is professional production fit-for-the-best! If you enjoy the joyful sounds of Irish folk, this album is one that you cannot do without! -Xavier P. for RadioIndy "

"Rock2Nite was incredible! They stole the show at our wedding. We are two Americans who did a Jewish-Hindu destination wedding in Portugal. We cared a lot about having a great band, and Rock2Nite was that and more. They learned a bunch of new songs for us, including one in Hebrew, and added in a trumpet player at our request. Their covers of everything from Madonna to Miley Cyrus to Weezer to Jack Johnson were on point. I can not recommend Rock2Nite highly enough - for rock, pop, acoustic, traditional Portuguese music, and much more."

"We hired Soul75 for our wedding last week and from start to finish it has been amazing. Firstly once we booked them we didn’t really have to do anything! We spoke with Richard a few months beforehand about what we would like and went through the plans for the day and it was as easy as that! Richard and the band organised every last detail and even visited our venue to ensure that everything would run smoothly. The communication was excellent and we did not have to worry about anything. On the day the band arrived on time they we all so friendly, professional and they sounded fabulous. The song choice was great, vocals and acoustics were outstanding. All of our guests were all up dancing and they chatted to our guests in the break which was lovely. Following the wedding we have had so many comments from our guests saying how great the band were and have been asking where else they play! I am so glad that we decided to choose Soul75 for our wedding reception, all very talented musicians and it genuinely wouldn’t have been the same without them. Thank you"

"I just love Paddy’s songs and musicians and music and energy… so when he told me he can also do weddings….!!! I just dream about asking him for mine. Their concert was just as perfect as we expected: fun, loving, true, positive! People still talk about this! "

"There are no words. Alkka and Chris were just phenomenal. Their talent and abilities are unmatched and to top it off, they are the loveliest people. We contacted Alkka and Chris to play at our venue in Cortijo Rosa Blanca a few months ago for our wedding this October. They were so easy to deal with and were always so pleasant. They had a lovely list of songs they recommended and also were able to include some songs that were special to us. On the day, when they weren’t singing they were smiling. All of our guests commented on how extremely talented they both are. For our cocktail hour, they played music based on the vibe, and what a vibe they were. If you’re looking for music for an event, look no further. Thank you guys so much again! Laura and Jacob (and Winnie) Xxx"

"The Street Foxes were a huge hit at our wedding! Their performance and energy created such a fun vibe, people couldn’t stop dancing. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they’re also genuinely lovely people. They’ve definitely gained some loyal fans. If you’re looking for a band to turn your wedding into a party, The Street Foxes are it!"

"All of this is an admittedly roundabout way of confessing that I wasn't prepared to be as delighted as I am with Go Tell It on the Mountain (Silkheart), an album of traditional hymns and originals with heaven-gazing titles by Booker T. Williams Jr., a New York-based tenor saxophonist originally from Seattle who performs as Booker T. The obsessive soul-searching implicit in the programming suggests an affinity with John Coltrane. But unlike too many of the saxophonists who aim for Coltrane's spiritual elevation, Booker T has a devilish sense of humor best illustrated by his "Say amen, Gracie" drollery on "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," a homey little melody he elongates and fragments with the comic élan of a Sonny Rollins. In fact, the classic album that Go Tell It on the Mountain most recalls is Way Out West, Rollins's 1958 album of cowboy tunes--and not just because Booker T, like Rollins before him, finds inspiration in unlikely places. It's also because Booker T's interaction with the bassist Saheb Sarbib and the drummer Andrew Cyrille is as carefree and almost as electrifying as Rollins's with Ray Brown and Shelly Manne thirty years ago (or better yet, with Wilbur Ware and Elvin Jones on A Night at the Village Vanguard, from around the same time). Despite the sarcasm implicit in Booker T's low-register bleats, his performances of "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Jesus Loves Me" exude sincerity, much the way Rollins's interpretations of oddball pop tunes do. For Booker T, as for Rollins, satire is a sign of respect, not condescension. Booker T is ecumenical: one of the album's most infectious cuts is "Halle Kalle Mazeltov," a hora whose modality he cagily exploits. The Spartan trio format means that Sarbib and Cyrille have to function as soloists as well as rhythm stalwarts, and both men shoulder the added burden gracefully, maintaining melodic continuity in a manner that bassists and drummers seldom do when they solo. Despite the length of some of the tracks (the title tune, which is just over sixteen minutes, is a Booker T original, not the folk song of the same name), Booker T's solos never deteriorate into self-indulgent braying. His sense of thematic exposition is too well developed for that-another cue he takes from Rollins. (And as if to underscore his lineage, the CD-only bonus track is Rollins's calypso "St. Thomas.") He switches to alto on his own "When Mama Cries I Cry," and his phrasing is impressively speechlike on this lighter horn. "
