"This band is INCREDIBLE! They truly made our night special - despite a downpouring of rain, change of venue, etc - they rolled with the punches and put on a show! Every person at a 275 person wedding was dancing, including my 92 year old grandmother. They even booked a guest at the wedding - if that isn't a good enough recommendation, I'm not sure what is. If you have the choice to go with them, do not hesitate. Thank you to ATBB for making our wedding night perfect."

" I BEYOND THANK YOU AND YOUR BAND! When I tell you that you guys were all people were buzzing about!!! The music was excellent and there were so many compliments. There were a few last min changes like Chilly Bill Smith so he didn't know that they were not supposed to sing but it worked out and everyone joined in from what I could hear from the lobby. Oh and the 'church' banter was perfect. I am sure a few of them would caught the Holy Ghost if yall kept going...lol The chemistry was fantastic! When Ms. Ava is happy then we are all happy - lol."

"James was so terrific that words don’t give him justice! His performance blew the guests (Naval Officers and High Ranking friends) of my father Admiral James "Ace" Lyons' 90th birthday party away! He sang very special songs that brought back very found memories of the past locations where we lived around the world! James was absolutely wonderful and accommodated everything I had ask and dreamed of. Lastly, James' rendition of ‘My Way” brought tears to everybody's eyes! "Friday 24th November 2023 - The Jazz Kings - Tweed Valley Jazz and Blues A superb gig to bring a fitting close to a year of top-flight music. ‘The Jazz Kings’ left us in no doubt why they are currently rated among the top outfits on the North Coast. Each of them – Nicole Parker-Brown on vocals, Peter Uppman on vocals and trumpet (sometimes almost at the same time), Gordon Matheson on guitar, Col Atkinson on bass and yet more vocals, and Jose McLaughlin on keyboards – is an accomplished performer in their own right, and in combination they are a musical powerhouse to be reckoned with. It was an evening of eclectic mix, from popular jazz standards, through blues arrangements that will be appearing on their latest album, to occasional dips into the classical realms, and a few nostalgic ‘pop’ reminiscences. Among the favourites were their own arrangements of evergreens such as ‘Night and Day,’ ‘All Of Me’, ‘Misty’, ‘Georgia On My Mind’ and ‘Making Whoopee’. Jose even gave a nod towards his earlier career as keyboard player and musical director of ‘Gerry and the Pacemakers’ with his updated arrangements of ‘Ferry Cross the Mersey’ and ‘Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Crying’. All in all, a great end to 2023, and the Club Committee took time at the end to wish all members and visitors a happy and safe Xmas and a prosperous New Year. If it promises music of the same quality as this past year, then we’ll have no complaints."

"Last Sunday in the great ambiance of the Cultuurkoepel in Heiloo we visited the concert of Marcia Bamberg with her Swing Quartet. Wonderful singing by Marcia with a number of French songs in Django Reinhardt style. We really enjoyed it and the enthusiasm was obvious. In addition to Marcia's Quartet we could enjoy the virtuoso violinist Tim Kliphuis, a perfect interpreter of the music of the French jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli. Moses Rosenberg was also in shape, nice fast guitar playing for this musician from the Rosenberg family. All in all a fantastic afternoon, with nice contact with the audience. Definitely worth repeating. "
