"With Groove Primitive you can tell that they are dedicated from the first bar, but they also are fun, with a sense of humour. The funk is tight and the rockier songs have soul. Shay’s vocals are strong and she’s backed by some great players. I’ve seen them in bars and clubs, but could imagine them on a journey to filling much bigger venues in the future. Highly Recommended 5 stars – for entertainment and musical virtuosity."

"During a medical conference in Greece this summer, we had the pleasure of hearing the band Marmitas perform live at the reception. Their performance was truly amazing, mixing international songs with a professional touch that left us impressed. We especially loved their jazz tunes, which were performed with such precision, and singer Mania added the perfect touch with her incredible voice. It was a musical experience to remember!"

"I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Band. We booked them during the pandemic and had to move our date – Raphael was so accommodating and understanding which made it very easy. On the day the band played at our ceremony, apperitivo and dinner. Raphael had reached out to me to ask about our preferred songs and they were all played perfectly on the day. He even was able to make some fantastic suggestions when we weren’t sure what to go for. All our guests also loved the band and we received so many comments on how lovely an atmosphere they managed to create. THANK YOU Blue Moon Jazz band! You really made a huge difference to our wedding day and I am so glad we had you there."

"The Perfect Soundtrack to Our Wedding – Thanks to Grace Grace was a dream to work with — kind, talented, and completely tuned in to our vision from the very start. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she went above and beyond to provide music samples tailored to our ceremony choices, including a breathtaking Killers Medley for my walk down the aisle. When the day arrived, Grace’s live piano and vocals elevated every moment. Her performance during the pre-ceremony and throughout was simply stunning — elegant, emotional, and beautifully paced. Walking down the aisle to her music was one of the most emotional moments of the entire day. Guests repeatedly told us how special it felt to have live music, and how lovely Grace was. Her presence brought warmth and grace (no pun intended!) and truly helped shape the atmosphere of love and joy. Grace, you are so talented — we honestly can’t thank you enough for creating such magical moments through your music. "I can’t say enough good things about Groove Gang Avenue. It’s always challenging to hire a band or any other service from another country. Giuseppe did everything possible to make the process stress free. He was quick to respond, eager to accommodate all of our requests, and even suggested a video chat on WhatsApp a few months before the wedding to make sure we all knew what to expect. On the day of the wedding, the band drove from Rome to a small town outside Sorrento just for our wedding. After a quick consultation on where we wanted them to set up, they got to it and we were able to get back to handling other details. When our guests began arriving and the band started playing, I knew instantly that we had made the right choice. Our group instantly loved the music, from their standard repertoire up to a few songs that they learned just for us. The sound was balanced and full. I was also very glad that we went with the 5-piece group, since the saxophone added so much to the mood! Then, a rain shower blew through. As soon as we made the decision to move inside, the band started grabbing equipment and within 20 minutes they had set up indoors and were back to keeping the party going. Several times throughout the night I had a guest come up to me, nod toward the band and say: “They’re REALLY good!” And they are. I couldn’t be more glad that we chose Groove Gang Avenue to play for our wedding, and that they were willing to travel so far to make the party happen as wonderfully as it did! "Se amate la buona musica senza eccessi Ho scelto il team di Alfonso, Valentina &Co perché volevo una voce elegante che accompagnasse il mio matrimonio senza eccessi da concerto ma più da accompagnamento ed ascolto. Musicisti eccezionali, eleganti e mai troppo “ fuori “ contesto. Ho scelto un repertorio soul, lounge e swing. Direi davvero soddisfatto e contento. Complimenti da tutti gli ospiti presenti!"
