"we booked Raphael and the Blue moon jazz band a year ahead for our wedding in Montalcino in September. Raphael was so professional and sweet all through our planning, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. At the wedding day they arrived and and just started to play in front of the guest at the reception. everyone loved it. they were so kind and joyful, and was playing for hours with the biggest smile. so romantic and perfect for our wedding. we just sat in the sun, drinking champagne, eating delicious food and listened to real italian jazz. it couldn’t have been more perfekt. So if you want real italian mood for your wedding, a over the top professional band and some talented musicians, you have to book The Blue Moon Jazz Trio. We loved it! Serena’s voice is captivating, and her skillful guitarist playing along with the double bass creates such a rich, elegant sound. The band's professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. "I recognise immediately that these serious musicians are challenging the listener and themselves to play outside the box.(...) Music Soup is a good name for this trio of musicians because they embrace a mixed bag of styles and musical concepts that mirror their decade of playing together and their individual personalities... ... Because they have been working together for ten years, Music Soup has a tight, cohesive sound. Their music is well written and produced. On “Your Song” horns join the group. Special guests Dimitris Papadopoulos on trumpet, Dimitri Vassilakis on tenor sax and Antonis Andreou on trombone fatten the sound. However these horns, (nicely arranged by Haris Ziouva) are merely icing on the creative cake that Karlafti and Dimopoulos have baked. Nestor’s bluesy guitar and Evgenia Karlafti’s organ mastery are the fireworks of this production. "

"We hired The Cheers for our own wedding this year and they were absolutely wonderful! So easy to deal with and on the night the music was brilliant, everyone was dancing from our 5 year old daughter through to the 'oldies'!!!! It was a great atmosphere, so much fun and really made our wedding day. The whole band were simply lovely - friendly and smiley and really accommodating to all our music requests. Highly recommend."
