"Hans is not only an amazing Violinist, he is an amazing person and made every step of booking a Violinist in a different country for our wedding as easy as possible. From the first video call well before our wedding, to constantly making sure we were creating the perfect ceremony/cocktail/dinner playing experience I can not stress enough how quick his responses were and how much he actually cared about our special day. Hans quickly put together a professional contract for us so all the details were set in stone almost half a year before the wedding date! Hans was able to play ANY song that we requested as well as to play a very specific piece during my wife’s walk down the aisle - timing it perfect and effortlessly all by himself. Furthermore Hans actually also helped us out with other caterers and arranged his own transport to a very remote location. 10/10 experience working with Hans through the entire process"

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. Reading your review truly made my day! It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your wedding. From our first video call to the big day itself, I genuinely wanted everything to be exactly as you had imagined, so I’m so happy to hear that you felt supported throughout the whole process. Thank you for trusting me with such meaningful moments. It was an honor to perform for you both and to be part of such a beautiful celebration.

"Latin Waves Duo performed at our house concert in January this year to an audience of over 100 that ranged in age from 1yr to over 70. The audience wasn't just latinos either with everyone having a wonderful time. The two sets were beautifully varied with quiet ballads and later well known dance numbers that had everyone up and moving. Highly recommended."

One of the best experiences for Latin Waves. It was wonderful to see how you've cultivated a community around yourselves and the house concerts. You are wonderful people, and that is deeply inspirin

"Awesome 50th birthday bash Doug and his steel drum was great for my husbands 50th birthday party last night. Everyone raved about the unique touch it added. We put tarps up to protect Doug and his equipment from the rain and it all went off without a hitch! Let me know how I can upload a video from the party.. Andrea"

"Such a good magician, I'm still genuinely confused by some of the tricks I saw!! We were guests at a wedding and Darren's magic was the best entertainment! Such a talent, and a genuinely nice guy."

"An atmospheric and Christmassy decorated theatre café forms the setting for this year's Yes Jazz Christmas Matinée. It is pleasantly busy. Many music lovers choose the warmth of the Yes Jazz theatre café of De Hofnar on this cold Sunday afternoon. Gipsy jazz is popular and Christmas music always goes down well. When these two come together, you can of course count on a special afternoon. And that is what it will be. The music is beautiful. A beautiful singer and three excellent musicians ensure a beautiful Christmas Matinée. This quartet clearly shows that many different types of music can be cast in the mould of the gipsy style. Django Reinhardt resonates in everything. The tight foundation is audible in Ronald Weel's rhythm guitar and on Daniël Gueli's double bass. You can build on this. The solo guitar and the singer provide the leading parts. Marcia Bamberg stands out because of her clear voice: crystal clear and velvety soft where necessary. The improvisations of the solo guitarist, John Lighart, are smooth and inventive. Sometimes very virtuoso. The repertoire is especially very versatile. From French chansons to well-known jazz standards. Of course, the big Christmas hits are not missing. Night and Day, After you’ve gone, but also Belle Histoire and La vie en rose come in beautiful arrangements from the Yes Jazz stage. Christmas has started well! "

Dear Dick, What a wonderful and beautifully written review! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of our Yes Jazz Christmas Matinée. ❤️ We're delighted that you enjoyed the musical variety, the gypsy jazz arrangements and the special Christmas atmosphere. It was such a pleasure for us to bring together French chansons, jazz standards and Christmas classics in our own Django-inspired style. Your lovely words about my voice and the musicianship of John, Ronald and Daniël mean a lot to us. We're very proud of the musical chemistry within the quartet, and it's wonderful to hear that this came across so clearly. And what a lovely thought: Christmas has started well! We couldn't agree more. Thank you for being part of this special afternoon and for such a warm review. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas season, filled with music! Warm musical regards, Marcia & the band 🎶
