"Paul plays every month at our venu. Our clientel range from 30s to 60s and every time Paul engages with the customers and plays requests if he knows the songs. He plays a wide range of music/songs to suit everyone. He also has a good following to his gigs. A great choice for events and birthdays . "

"Many , many thanks Oak & Brass, for entertaining us all with your brilliant performances during our Christmas wedding. There were songs for everyone, and the playing of some of my favourites was a particularly lovely surprise and quite emotional to be honest!! "Nate did a fantastic job for my 50th in our backyard. He's a great musician, and was a delight to deal with at all times. He adapted to the needs of the audience, and helped greatly in delivering an awesome vibe and a brilliant night. His repertoire is very diverse, and his vocal delivery and guitar playing was really great. Would very happily recommend Nate!"

"Melissa and Joe were simply wonderful! They played before the ceremony as guests arrived to the garden ceremony. Their playing was beautiful, guests of all ages loved it. The venue commented they were one of the best bands they’ve ever had. They’re also both absolutely lovely humans! Strong recommend xxx "

"Pharaoh and the Beats recently played at our wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn and provided a really fantastic night of live entertainment for us and our guests! From the start, Leanne and the team's services were super professional. After quickly responding to our initial enquiry and questions, we were invited to a rehearsal to check them out and see if the band's style was a fit for our event. Getting to meet Leanne, hearing her amazing vocal talent live, and seeing how well the band gelled together really put us at ease and confirmed they were going to be the right choice for our wedding. Communication and flexibility from the band leading up to and including the big day was excellent too such as promptly sharing PAT/PLI certificates for the venue, tailoring a varied set-list to our taste/audience, letting us choose a couple of our favourite songs for them to learn and perform, dealing with some speech over-runs compressing set-up time on the night, and even letting the Groom get up on stage with Leanne to sing a few verses of the kiwi classic 'Be Mine Tonight' and Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'' to the Bride! Everyone had a great night and we were all super impressed with Leanne's stunning vocals and the band's warm up-beat sound. If you're looking for a professional and reliable covers band with a vocalist that can cover a wide range of material and really get the party going, hire these guys!"

"We hired Cathy and Tom for our wedding and they were the best! They were a joy to work with and have a very fun, upbeat energy. They really listened to what we envisioned for our wedding and made it happen. Multiple people complimented us on the entertainment and they ended the night with karaoke which was a huge hit. I highly recommend hiring Flannel and Lace for any event."

"We were lucky to have this fantastic music at our wedding, from the moment we arrived, with some background music while we welcomed our guests, to the DJ service during the party. We're not big fans of “typical” wedding music, but all we had to do was ask and send them some songs that were more to our taste, and they understood us right away. They were fantastic and everyone at the party, from the youngest to the oldest, got up and had fun. They were memorable, and everything went smoothly, without a hitch. Thank you so much for making our day so much more special!"

"I cannot begin to describe how much we loved Mikus and his performance at our wedding! I hired him as a surprise to my groom and we loved every minute of his music! He was so communicative and helpful the days leading up to my wedding and worked to coordinate with the other vendors too! He engaged the guests at our wedding and traveled between tables to play for everyone and make them laugh or smile! He also played the piano at our wedding and was an excellent and professional musician! If you are looking for a way to make your wedding memorable we recommend you hire him right away! There were so many friends and family who took videos and who told us how much they loved the live music! Thank you again for the incredible memories and music!!
