"We booked Groove Star to help us celebrate a significant family occasion. To say they exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The party was originally booked for 2020 but due to Covid it had to be postponed. Steve was happy to hold the booking for as long as we needed and throughout communication was first rate. On the day, they fitted in with everything else that was happening seamlessly. They provided two sets of one hour each and there wasn't a song that wasn't met with whoops and cheers from our guests. They were also more than happy to accommodate song requests. The band were brilliant and the singers exceptional. I would absolutely recommend that anyone booking Groove Star go all out and book the whole band, with brass section, as it makes a huge difference. Groove Star are definitely up there as one of the best party bands."

"Wow! So much fun! Everyone needs more friends like this! Soaring lead vocals with spine tingling harmonies paired with melting lead guitar, keys and to top it all off groove inducing bass and drums. Rent a Friend Band is the whole package and provides something for everyone, with a set list curated from all your favorite hits spanning multiple generations! These fun loving professional musicians are a pleasure to work with. They had our venue popping and we can't wait to have them back.”"

"What a great night of entertainment 5 stars - Midnight Shindig are Highly Recommended. “This first class band has a great catalogue of popular songs and is well worth booking if you want a band to dance to from the first to last song performed. "As the groom, I got to choose the band. I had heard Lisa and The E-lusion at my now-wife's sorority formal, and knew what my first choice would be. Besides being a genuinely talented band, The-Elusion are accommodating. With their extensive playlist of both traditional wedding reception songs and more recent pop, we were able to say which songs we did not want them to play, while Lisa does a great job of playing whatever the audience is grooving. Also, they were willing to learn entirely new songs for our first dance, the father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. We received tons of complements about the band from our guests. "We booked Soul Funk Secret for our wedding in Suffolk .They were a fantastic addition to our special day – talented, professional, friendly, accommodating. Everyone was exhausted from doing so much dancing! Vita has a fantastic voice and the overall sound was amazing with a great set list. We were sad when we got to the last song as could have done another round! Thanks guys. Hope to see you again some time. Marie and Clin x Marie Fairish"
