" I have attended The Groove Primitive performances a few times through out the past few years, most notabaly at BarLove Portobello & Room 43 Lavender Hill. Thay are a superb collective of musicians led by Eddie Abdullah. The play funk, soul, jazz, groove & reggae, creating an amazing dance-inspired groove. Unique arrangements abound along with Eddie's own fresh, inventive ideas. Sublime vocals are also prominent and they interact with audience in a very personal, inclusive way. Very highly recommended! 10/10"

"We can’t thank Blue Moon Jazz enough! They really made our wedding with their wonderful music. We couldn’t be more happy. Our guests could not stop talking about the music and the atmosphere their music created. The band played a collection of jazz music during our aperitivo and it was our favourite part of the day. We could have listened to them for hours more! Raphael also played the piano as our guests arrived and played the two songs we requested for our ceremony entrance and exit. At no point did any request seem like too much of an ask! Raphael was very communicative and we trusted him throughout the whole process (we are from the UK and so liaised over email until the wedding day). I couldn’t recommend booking Blue Moon Jazz anymore, they truly made our wedding! "

"Absolutely fantastic! We originally booked a DJ - decided 6 months before our wedding to book Relative Cool, and boy were we pleased we did! This band are truly fantastic, they were the icing on the cake of an amazing day! I would recommend anyone booking this band! They really got the party going! "Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio played at our wedding ceremony and reception in Tuscany in October. The responsiveness during the planning could not be faulted and their flexibility in being able to learn our specified songs for during the ceremony was great. They had a lovely sound – just the style of jazz that we enjoy – and played a number of sets based on our preferences. They also played some more contemporary songs in a jazz style during the ceremony. They integrated into the ceremony without any hassle and were in fact the easiest of all the many parts of the wedding to organise. I would certainly recommend Raphael and the Blue Moon Quartet for any wedding or function – such a nice group of very talented people and they made our day truly memorable! "
